It doesn't matter if there's a deflection, the Barcelona player made the pass. At the time the Barca player kicked the ball, he was offside.

@UnknownGenius01 Yaya was not playing the ball forward, he was playing it to his left side, the ball was played to the Barcelona player by the Valencia player and that means he was not offside. If it was deflected on its path to the Barcelona player, then it would have been offside (normally) but this was played to the Bracelona player literally by the Valencia player.
