  • yea rules of Chinatown San Francisco

dont go down there after 9 pm the gangs do it at your own risk

dont go off the main streets

  • I believe New York's Chinatown is the largest in the USA--- SF used to be

  • That was so nice what you said. We all have the same hopes and fears, we are the same. Prejudice is just stupid and wrong.

  • I hitchhiked through San Francisco in 1972, it is a beautiful place. That was one heck of a summer!

  • @purpurpledog8 I would love to hear what it was like back then...it was the place to be...

  • @JCVdude I spent most of my time in Berkeley. I worked for the Free Food Fund put on by the Diggers, got involved with a guy, hitchhicked around. At that time, people were out on the streets selling jewelry, frozen yogurt (first invented!) and incense. Lots of GOOD driugs. Everybody slept on the streets, I slept on the steps of a church until I got into a crash pad w/ friends. I crossed the Golden Gate in the back of a pickup truck with a bunch of friends and some big dogs, it was beaurtiful!
