@JCVdude I spent most of my time in Berkeley. I worked for the Free Food Fund put on by the Diggers, got involved with a guy, hitchhicked around. At that time, people were out on the streets selling jewelry, frozen yogurt (first invented!) and incense. Lots of GOOD driugs. Everybody slept on the streets, I slept on the steps of a church until I got into a crash pad w/ friends. I crossed the Golden Gate in the back of a pickup truck with a bunch of friends and some big dogs, it was beaurtiful!

I hitchhiked through San Francisco in 1972, it is a beautiful place. That was one heck of a summer!
