Thanks for responding. I just started using Alterna's Caviar Shampoo & conditioner for 2 wks and my hair is saying, " Hello, what's the difference?" Maybe I'll see some improvement after a month or so.

If you can explain more in detail about using professional products. To make this convincing you must show the difference between professional and regular products. If generic and professional basically have the same ingredients, most women are going to go for the cheapest.

I agree, and if there were no difference between the ingredients and how they affect the hair, I would certainly say go for the cheaper product! Totally understandable! However, most professional lines use better ingredients which yield better results...just something I wanted to point out!
