Verdugo was definitely the scariest boss to face in the whole game to me. The Alien films were one of the inspirations between the atmosphere of Resident Evil and the inspiration is clear to see here.

You're obviously missing the point of this video. What fun is it to just keep breezing through the game with shotguns, magnums, etc? You don't get a magnum in a No Merchant Combat Knife/Handgun run, so what do you do then? This is the fun way to play ;)

The European PAL version has Easy mode from the start. It's not available in the US NTSC version. I think the Jap. NTSC version has Easy as well, but I'm not sure.

yeah i got gamecube version too... i onle have been playing that mercenaries shit for like 2 months and i only get 5 stars in all stages with krauser and wesker...i dont even wanna thing what will happens when i try with leon... i recomend you play the 4 stage with leon to unlock krauser, that stage is very easy because there is a lot of time and bonus, only keep an eye on mega dr salvador... yeah hunk's neckbreaker rocks! XD when you get krauser unlock all that shit is going to be more easy

hmmm i was kinda scared of doing the 4th stage, waterworld, yeah cuz of the mega dr. salvador and my friends say he's really fast. i decided to stick with the village to unlock everybody cuz its the easiest i think and mega dr. salvador must be kinda hard with only the riot gun and the blacktail if u use leon. i thought it would be easier with ada but the tmp sucks cuz it runs out of ammo too quickly

yeah maybe you will have to practice a lil bit before try to unlock characters in this level, but belive me the riot gun is really helpfull in that level cuz all the bonus time you can take,and mega dr. salvador is not so hard to take really just keep shoting him in the head with the riot and you will finish him, well i do it that way, maybe it was just luck XD

lol maybe but i think we each have our own specialty stages....mine is the village cuz its easy to remember where all the bonuses are and you can get youself into a corner and wait for a bunch of ganados to attack you and kill them all instantly

the village is the easiest stage....its hard at first....but if you keep getting the time boosts you can go longer and kick more ass... the only reason the bella sisters are kicking your ass is cuz your probably staying in one place or your to afraid to run past them to collect ammo

Actually no, this is all pure experience from playing all the Resident Evils, I write the FAQs myself :). I only use other FAQs for completing collections (like a full ghost list in Fatal Frame/Project Zero) or to find out obscure secrets which would take an eternity to discover on my own (Final Fantasy comes to mind, or the secrets in Doom/Wolfenstein/Tomb Raider, etcetera).
