Here we are another year gone by, It is December 1st 2011 at 12:06 am.
Hoping next year is a better year for peace on earth. It is always sad to see the soldier's march off to a needless war! Peace on Earth Good Will to Man, and Woman............... Sir David
Loved what you did with the video. Very creative. And I absolutely love this song, too! It's awesome. But I have to disagree about this being the best Christmas song ever, as this really isn't about Christmas so much as it is about Winter. I think that the best Christmas song ever is Hark The Herald Angels Sing. Now THAT is a Christmas song! :)
However it's just a matter of opinion, 'Hark The Herald Angels Sing' is an extravagant song, no doubt, nonetheless 'White is in the Winter Night' is the best Christmas song in my standpoint. The latter reminds me more of the Christmas than the former, even so it's more like a winter/holidays song; despite that the Christmas theme behind the song can't be denied. Continued.....
@djtedn Thanks djtedn, I appreciate your comment. The most part of the song runs over Ingmar Bergman's 4 times Oscar winning 'Fanny och Alexander' (in English 'Fanny and Alexander'). It's the movie where you see Christmas eve with Children and adults running in a circle, having dinner and kids playing with a maid. The prologue is from Tim Allen's 'The Santa Claus' where his son & he travel to North Pole. The epilogue is from 'A Christmas Story' (remake).
Actually it isn't a single movie but rather three movies merged together. Just imagine the the following colors together:-
Green "Mistletoe"
Red "Holly"
Silver "Stars Above"
Gold "Candel Light"
Crimson "Embers"
White "Winter Night"
They symbolize Christmas to me, at least my mind conjectures it this way :)

I certainly can't disagree with that!
Merry Christmas!
