Rayman Origins - Mr. Dark Battle Theme (Scrapped)

You know what would have been epic? Mr. Dark's blimp blows up (just like in the game), but we find out that he escaped to Land of Livid Dead. After this news, we head there and (after a grueling final level), we finally catch up to Mr. Dark and the final battle ensues.

I have a feeling Origins is actually to Retcon the entire series thus Origins is the new Rayman 1.

SInce R2 and 3 shows that Teensies are the main populace of the surface, thus the most logical thing would be to make Mr. Dark a Teensie too.

This game's continuity also goes against R1, why would the Magician help Rayman beat Mr. Dark if if he adored him so?

It's pretty self-explainatory when you think about the Showdown with Mr. Dark. The game is called Rayman Origins for a reason. If we had to battle Mr Dark in this game, how the hell was he possible to return in Rayman 1?

The Mr. Dark in the picture is really the Magician. There are scrapped dialogue files that indicate he pretended to be Mr. Dark because he is a huge fan of him, in the Magician's hide out, there are posters that say "<3 M. Dark" And such. There was supposed to be a section of the game where he confronts the heroes and rips the gold star off his hat, as seen in the picture, and explains everything, then becomes the antagonist. It is unknown why this was cut, but it sucks.

@MegaCrashXD No, the file was called 'BossPlant', so it was probably meant to be played during the battle against the mechanical daisy. I guess the developers decided it was too epic and unfitting.

yeah this version of Mr Dark is not the best one. I honestly dont know what was ubisoft thinking when they decided to make mr dark as Teensie. He should look waay cooler.

@OldClassicGamer I think you will find the design in the picture is what they were planing on making him look like, but whatever drugs they were taking started wearing off so they rettconned the new look knowing it would dissapoint rayman fans and made the teensie version a fan of Mr. Dark (The teensie in the game looks way different)

Hopefully they will get him right in the next one. Still wish they used this theme though, this is awesome.
