although i dissagree with you on the merits of Billy Corgan's lyrical writing ability, and the ability of Iggy pop to speak coherently on issues he feels strongly about, I've not found any album billy has sung on worth the vinyl, plastic or silicon it was recorded onto. although i will concede if u were able to mute the vocals of a smashing pumpkins album, it would be more tolerable than any disney contract recording artist's album.

I LOVE everything Iggy's ever done - and I LOVE old jazz & blues - never imagined I'd be able to hear both @ once. Totally agree w/you, Siouxie921: some serious jazz chops. Iggy, you've always had my admiriation, but after hearing this, you also have my utmost respect (not that I'm "somebody")--the musicianship involved in being able to pull something like this off,and make it GOOD?? Phenomenal. When song started, i seriously thought I was gonna hear Cab Calloway singing...no joke. Amazing.
