Lol. Guys, I learned this 100% from sheet music and doing a little bit of improvisation. Still, this is an older version of what I've done with this song, and one of my less favorite ones, actually.

In the end, though, I had been playing the piano for about 6 years when I learned this piece---and I still found it rather difficult to get right.

... Though... I did teach a first year piano student to play a 'modified' version of this.

Just take baby steps, okay? =)

lol good luck. i've been playing the piano for 10 years, and yes, i practice almost everyday. i've got a bit of natural talent for the piano i guess, but this piece took me about 4 months of practicing all the time to get it right. and i have to play it for a recital in 5 days, with the opening of Tifa's theme. This is by far one of the hardest pieces i've ever played (i only play final fantasy and kingdom hearts music) besides one winged angel. so if you wanna play this... start practicing lol

Compared to seabasses vesrion, or whatever his name is i think you should work on the articulation alittle. space/length of notes, and maybe alittle dynamics.. But yours has more feeling behind the playing and i like that.. You think you could lend me the sheet music for this version? I'd appreciate it

Holy crap! This is oooold! I mean, even the newest one I uploaded is old but this one is OLD! I haven't stopped playing the song since and finally have a final, 10 minute long 'personal' version of it that I'll upload in due time.

Thanks for your comment, though, but I'll need to somehow notate this on Sibelius to give it to you considering all I really did was stray from the original in this version.

Good try, you should try to play slower for practising and then slowly speed it up and it'll be much more accurate.

also, try to use a metronome with it.

Haha. That's the last time I ever played that version. I never really did get crazy good at it but it was actually a few weeks since I played that song and I wanted to record it before I completely lost it. As of now I'm working on other versions, versions I like more, mixing some other songs from the same game in there as well. =p
