I was born in Iran and raised in US. I must say this is the most beautiful song about Iran and if some people disagree with it, then, they're not Iranians!!! I thank Mr. Amini and Mrs. Simin for such beautiful song and wish them the best.

I'm Persian/Iranian, Ive lived in Seattle for the past 31 years, I speak/understand Persian well.

I regret how Persian songs/music has changed from Faramarz Aslany, Googosh, Darioush and Farhad etc... to such stupid East Indian-like music and songs... These are (to my opinion) just piles of shit fed to Iranian now days and that's too bad...! I feel ashamed to say I'm Persian when I see these kind of crap shown to the whole world... and you people are proud of these assholes/singers/writes !!?

Did you come to the US right before the revolution? And are you in the age goup 50-58? You probably grew up listening to the songs of Googoosh, Dariush, Heydeh, Ebi, Sattar, etc. But you know, things change and don't always stay the same. I agree that there is some music that isn't worth listening to, but you can say that for music in other languages too. Everyone has their own taste in music. To each his own. You use a lot of bad language. That's not being very respectful. Live love and laugh.

May I suggest a song for you to listen to? The name of the song is "Pray With Me" by Farshid Amin. Farshid has a beautiful voice. Seems like you like a lot of "old timers." I like them too sometimes, but at times I like listening to more modern type music not the old fashioned music. Be proud of who you are, and who cares what everyone else thinks. As long as you're not hurting anyone, then do what you like. Have a good week. :) ...Don't worry, be happy...LOL
