Just so you know, Metallica were inducted to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, Anvil weren't. I think it says enough about the band and how big it is. I like the older albums better too, but I think that in Load and Reload, Metallica showed they were able to really write music, and not just play fast .I also think that people underestimate these 2 albums too much.

Remember seeing them a few times back in 82/83 at the London Marquee for Metal on Metal tour. Sweat dripping from the ceiling & Lips in bondage gear, flying V's and vibrators. They rocked the club to it's foundations! Good times. Real trailblazers for their time. Nice to see them getting some real recognition, albeit 20 odd years late. All hail ANVIL!!!

Cause after this album Lemmy Kilmister of Moterhead asked him to replace Eddie Clarke as Lead Guitarist. Old Metallica is way better than the new and Anvils New is still as Hard as the old stuff While Metallica's being called Good and Ok Anvils Being called God Like Heavy Rockin Amazing Orgasmic and a whole bunch of other great things Anvil for life bro.

Just so you know, Metallica were inducted to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, Anvil weren't. I think it says enough about the band and how big it is. I like the older albums better too, but I think that in Load and Reload, Metallica showed they were able to really write music, and not just play fast .I also think that people underestimate these 2 albums too much.

Look, I don't say Anvil aren't good. They deserve A LOT more credit for their work and contribution to Metal music. Hey after all they have influenced on Metallica too. But to me they are just a band releasing records every year and honestly, except for some of their hits, none of their music really catches my attention 'cause it kinda sounds the same and it gets boring after 4-5 songs. Just like DIO's solo career. The first two albums rock, but the next albums repeat themselves.

Remember seeing them a few times back in 82/83 at the London Marquee for Metal on Metal tour. Sweat dripping from the ceiling & Lips in bondage gear, flying V's and vibrators. They rocked the club to it's foundations! Good times. Real trailblazers for their time. Nice to see them getting some real recognition, albeit 20 odd years late. All hail ANVIL!!!

Cause after this album Lemmy Kilmister of Moterhead asked him to replace Eddie Clarke as Lead Guitarist. Would of been the best financial move at the time, but he made the better decision by declining it.
