  • Great list! Too bad all these guys were victims of either bad booking, injuries, or in Hassan's case, bad timing.

  • What are your thoughts on Terry Funk? Do you think he could have ever been WWE Champion?

  • You're a nigger.

  • WWE really dropped the ball on Shelton Benjamin. That guy was super hot when he first came over from Smackdown.

  • what about Ron Simmons?

  • Great list!

How about Lance Storm, Hardcore Holly, Shelton Benjamin, Rikishi, Jimmy Snuka, and Tito Santana?

  • What's your opinion on Dean Malenko? Idk I felt he coulda been a world champ

  • @inspiredgluestick

Malenko's problem - as much as I hate saying it - was due to 2 things. A. His size and B. His charisma. If ROH was around during his prime, he'd be a top key player there. But I never saw him ever winning the WWE title.

  • @Monoxide1234455 yes, never realized how small he really was XD though one of the greatest technicians in the ring, his charisma was very lackluster, at least in the wwe

  • lex luger in 94-95...wasnt the best wrestler but was over enough i think but awesome vid monoxide

  • Nice list. I found a lot of it very see able in my own semi evil opinon. I would have loved to see Rude or Perfect as WWF champion. It would have made for some great stuff.

  • am i the only one who thinks of Dean Malenko? D=

  • Vader was actually going to become champ at Summerslam 96 until Shawn Michaels played his political card and denied it

  • i agree with 9 of them

  • At what time could Page have possibly held the title?

  • @motorsabin1

During when he first feuded with Undertaker did I believe his credentials of wining the title were justified.

  • @Monoxide1234455 I agree the whole story was him going after the biggest and baddest as the undertaker says dog in the yard and he got good reactions when this was happening i really wanted to see more of that feud to me the whole adding of kanyon and kane kind of killed it for me but i would have like to seen kanyon feuding with upper midcards.

  • @Monoxide1234455 Put the belt on Page during the invasion 1-2 months into his debut? Vince McMahon isn't retarded. Not to mention the fact that Taker didn't even have the belt at the time.

  • @motorsabin1

... When did I say Page should have the strap at that time? You're putting words into my mouth. I said he COULD'VE been world champion leading in after that feud. If they had used him properly, and the feud end properly, they could've capitalized on it.

  • @Monoxide1234455 Page became a background guy after his program with Taker and later a motivational speaker. It’s clear WWE didn’t want him near the main event, whether it be because of his age or they had no faith in him as a worker or money maker. Hell, even if WWE had never given him cheap mid card gimmicks, Page in 2001 still wasn’t as hot as Page in 97/98. So I can’t see how they’d put the belt on him over those that exceeded him like Austin, Rock, Taker, Jericho, and HHH circa 2001/2002.

  • @motorsabin1

You once again neglected to read what I wrote. I said during his feud with Taker, he looked to be as someone to be a future champion. It wasn't until after the feud, they demoted him. During that time period when he was feuding with Taker, not only were the pops for him big, but he was really getting the edge over Taker. That's why he's on the list. When I saw that feud with him and Taker, he looked like a guy of World Title caliber.

  • @Monoxide1234455 I'll go back to my original question. At what time, month, year, do you feel Page could have held the title.

  • @motorsabin1

...........Completely neglecting what I just said. I'll repeat once more, otherwise I give up with you because I'll write you as completely incompetent. When he was feuding with Taker, I made it clear that I thought he could be a champion later on. He looked like a future world champion based off that feud. Wasn't until AFTER they killed it.

  • @Monoxide1234455 Hell I could say a number of guys looked like future world champs during a feud, but that doesn’t overrule reality. Reality is EVEN IF WWE NEVER SCREWED WITH HIS CHARACTER it would still be dumb to put the belt on a less popular post 2000 WCW Page over the younger, fruitful, more popular Austin, Rock, Angle, HHH, and Jericho. Putting the belt on him during the Invasion–can’t see it happening. Putting the belt on him afterwards, character demotion or not–can’t see it happening.

  • @motorsabin1

Well, YOU can't see it happening which is a personal perspective on how YOU see it. When he feuded with Undertaker, he was popular enough and was built well enough (For a period of time) to hint a future world title run. It wasn't until his hiatus and gimmick change that that all ended. Thus, why I put him on the list.

  • @Monoxide1234455 I wasn’t being incompetent. The video says “guys that could have been WWE champion.” I asked for a time and month because I don’t see a time from his inception to his release where they could have shoe horned in a DDP title reign and have it be significant.

  • @motorsabin1

Yes, and I replied several times with the same answer , which answered everything you wanted to know, and you keep ignoring the answer. I even detailed my explanation, and you still can't pick up on it. You are either just that - incompetent, or have a severe case of dyslexia.

  • Man Muhammed Hassan got so much heat being him i could just imagine him with the wwe championship wow talk about wanting to see him get his ass kicked even more.

  • @mujo562 I don't know if you know this,But Hassan was actually supposed to beat Batista in 05 before the Upn network got in the way

  • @cctitansfan wow really damn i think it would have benefited wwe if hassan won the title they could have gotten someone over. but i do understand upn point of view.

  • But wrestling is fake...

  • it makes me sick when most of this list didnt get a run with the belt, granted Hogan was like Cena back then and wouldnt job to anyone with the belt, but just think Alberto Del Rio is ALREADY two times champion, he couldnt lace most of these boots

  • @MrHellface666 Agreed. Just goes to show how worthless the belts are today compared to then
