I still love this game to death. But my main gripe that I have always had with the game is, that the camera and the ropes are so damn shaky! It is so annoying because it makes the game look kinda choppy and chaotic. Beautiful graphics though for ps2 especially in cut scenes, and entrances etc.

Well the camera may be better in hctp or sym, but actually I like the camera in 2006. The camera in 2006 is definetly much better than the camera in 09 or 10. The default outside the ring camera in 09 and 10 sucked. In 2006 the outside the ring camera is much better.

I laughed my ass when he said the smackdown games have been the same. Smackdown 1 till the 1st smackdown vs raw were always different and improved. While SVR 05-09 are the same.

First off it has a better AI, my matches here average for 30 mins and up, unlike in 2010 (yes it is good) but the AI and the damaging is pathetic, even when you're on Legends difficulty and using someone with a low Rating, you win the match in 2 mins

Pinning you after a strong punch and a ground kick... UGH REALLY?! What quality are you talking about? Yukes ditched quality when the series went multiplat, they were too damn lazy to implement anything new and revolutionary, the 2k11 Physics were too long overdue.

The downsides were 3 f'n Hogans, loading times.

This is in my option the greatest wrestling game ever made. Its soundtrack where awesome. Its match types, modes (including the new GM mode) and roster where awesome. But the greatest thing where its gameplay, it was fast and it had easy controls which was a thing 07 and 08 needed, but 2009 looks very good.

Sorry, but honestly... i have it for Playstation 3 and i can't see how it goes to the limit like you say.

I think that the game could be a lot lot lot better, and the road to wrestlemania is really short and with a few wrestlers in option. The other thing that i see with the evolution of the wwe games since past Playstation is that the main system of gaming, programing animations, etc is very limited because of the xbox 360, and since we're talking about an american product... that says all

1) The roster, The roster in 08 wasnt as big as in 06.

2) The graphcs must be ( and are ) better than 08 so they are better than 06.

3) The finisher must look cool.

svr 2006 is the best svr without taking into account svr 09 that will come up in the next 2 months, 07 AND 08 BLOW , THEY SUCK, I hate them, they are disgusting and i cant make enough emphasis in that. The finisher look disgusting with the shotgun noise and the slow ( crappy ) down with close up. If you think 08 is good, you dont like wrestling games ( this is not a direct comment to you :P )
