Kangen water , does not change the PH of water. The PH of water is always 7, it cannot vary from 7. What it does is cause a reaction with the minerals in the water and form sodium hydroxide. It is basically like adding a couple drops of clorox to your water. Its only health benifits would be considered placebo. Also some people might replace drinking soda with Kangen Water and get some benifits . Kangen is basically less healthy than tap water.

They, just like you, don't have a basic understanding of science. It doesn't make them bad people, they are just victims. Water ionization is not only a fact, but is measurable. His racist comments about the Japanese people don't really help his argument either. Another thing is that this filter is considered to be a medical device. In japan the doctors treat their patients with this water when they come in and they are dehydrate.
