Middle finger on the second fret of the G string and the next finger on the 3rd fret of the B string, or do a regular D chord and remove the middle finger, whichever it's easier for you.

mostly the strumin pattern and some of the chords, is the tuning half step down?

Yes, the tuning is Half step and I just strum

down, up, down, up, up, down, up for every chord played so when I change chords it starts over with the same pattern. I posted the link in the description for the Chords used . Hopes this helps.
