I would of much preferred the actual entire Gotham City... you could assist police if they are chasing criminals, side missions galore etc etc. I can't wrap my head around giving a piece of the city to criminals... what? Why? This looks awesome as hell though.
@BronzeBullBalls If you read the online comics, Mayor Sharp (warden from the first game) has declared the Asylum unfit to house the criminals. So, he sections walls to provide a prison where escape may not be attempted. However, Batman, knowing this is recipe for a bad disaster, later learns that Sharp is being used as a puppet by someone to witness the villians destroy each other in this city (but I won't spoil who).

so this game is like arkham asylum + a big portion of gotham city which means it will be a big ass place + lots of new villains - those repetitive and bad boss battles. we got a winner here =D
They said they have seriously changed who boss battles are going to go down. The reason they said they sucked in the first game is because they did them late in the development and didnt put a great deal of attention on them. This time however they have put teams on specific boss fights and have started on them earlier on in the production of the game
On a crossover back in the day he fought the hulk and a godlike joker. He has also done stuff in his comic history which is way above the realms of human capability. Check this out. Its a website with all his high end feats
