i guess I disagree with most of the comments, and thought that the voice vs instruments was about right. You want the power of the instruments to get your blood going. Still, if it made it appeal to more, it probably wouldn't hurt terribly to bring up the voice a little.
It pains me to downvote anything containing Sagan, but I think the music really detracts fro the beauty of what he's saying. It's too loud and strong, and doesn't really compliment the words.
Definitely a fantastic piece, but I agree with the comments about the sound balance - the guitar does tend to drown the prose out a bit. Still, a worthy tribute.
Dunno about you guys, but for me the music in this video sounded obnoxiously loud, often completely drowning out the beautiful prose... Kind of disappointing.

JHLUKHRT,
thank you !
This is one fantastic video.
Visitors commenting on voice vs. music miss the point. I applaud your effort to evoke deep emotions with the changing dynamics.
Very effective. I fought tears while watching it for the first time.
Carl Sagan's voice and his message is timeless. With the help of your music there is no question: the outcome is genuine art.
Best wishes.

Sagans voice was a bit too faint, and music wasn't really fitting at the second part. Other than that, awesome.

This was good until that loud noise kicked in after a minute or two.

Music needs to be quieter, voice needs to be louder, otherwise, good.

Some days I'd agree that the music is overwhelming when alongside the gentle man's words. Today, in my present moment, it's just right.

I like this, but I think Carl's voice could have been a little louder or the guitar a little quieter.

reminds me of scenes from the new Battlestar Galactica - they did a great job of putting our little planet in perspective

Would have been great if you hadn't included all of the cheesy conflict videos.

This is great. All of the Symphonies of Science along with this should be released on an album. I would gladly buy it.

cool song. It fit the speech quite well, and had awesome visuals to accompany it. Good stuff.
