If freaking Toad is really one of the first character someone thinks about when he/she thinks of Nintendo, that person probably only ever played Mario Kart. Even when a normal gamer thinks of Mario, he's likely only the 6th or 7th character,at best, which really isn't deserving of the ''Icon'' status. His purpose as a character always was to fill a spot in party and sport games, that or being annoying NPCs. Almost anyone would deserve to be in Smash Bros more than him.

At the end of the day there won't be enough slots and even though I don't like her in SSB, they'll probably keep Jigglypuff. What we need is a Pokemon only fighter. That would be amazing.

I've considered a trainer with starters from gens 2-4 like you said. It would be cool. I kind of think that would take too much development time though to have so many pokemon. I don't understand why Jigglypuff is still in SSB. He/she might have been relevant back in SSB1 when he was in the anime, but he's not anymore. I'd say two variations of Pokemon Trainer (one with 1st gen Pokemon and the other with 6th) should take the first two Pokemon slots. @Narutendo3 Actually, imo, the absence of Ganondorf will be pretty strong due to his absence in the latest Zelda game SS. The one who I think will replace him would most likely be Ghiriham (However you spell his name) considering he was the main protagonist in the last game. Who knows though, Ganon may be considered a vetran by now, though personally, I wouldn't count on it :/

I have to say this is one of the best fake ssb4 rosters I've seen but a few things bug me such as skull kid without Majora's Mask, Zoruark is just an updated Lucario and it's not likely for both to be in there same as Mewtwo, a lot of clones, and I personally don't know who or what Sukapon is but it doesn't look like a character I would like being in the game. Other than that I really like it... and Impa?
Wow,that is a really good roster in my opinion,I like that you included Impa,I don't know why so many people don't consider her as a potential character and I also think that hardin is a good idea,but the fire emblem series is always hard to judge as of which character will be in the game.
Cloud is rather unlikely,because he never appeared in a final fantasy game on a nintendo console and it was his game that drove the ff series away from nintendo so I doubt they would include him.

Nice to see that others agree with me on Impa being in the game... She's the perfect Zelda character for the game. Like the other Zelda characters, she's been reincarnated throughout the series, but more importantly, she'd have a badass move set.
@lazorzez Yep, I'm surprised most people still give more consideration to Ghirahim even though he is just a side antagonist of the one game. If Skyward Sword is going to give reason to add a character to smash, it's Impa by far for her prior reoccurance.

@valzilla2000 Riiiight, because Starfox obviously is much bigger and more popular than Metroid or Kirby... Not to mention this "Kumatora" who I have never even heard of in all my years of gaming. And Mother has had only three games which are barely played outside of Japan. In fact, I plan on taking out Lucas from my roster. (granted I'll be removing Black Shadow as well)

Very good list. My only issue is that the Black Knight was and wasn't an antagonist. The reasoning is that without him Micaiah wouldn't have lived to stop the main antagonists Sephraim and Ashera. Then you have differences between Japan Fire Emblem and North America, but they have no major differences. Other than those things it was a awesome list.
@Pachico760 I really don't know the story of Fire Emblem games too well. But I do know that a Black Knight is some sort of antagonist in many of the games. That is why I will be replacing Hardin with him in my updated roster later.
One thing bad with organization: Adding Sukapon is like adding the Ice Climbers or pit more than it is like adding Mr.Game or R.O.B.
I like the idea of keeping the major antagonist for the major series only. Bowser, Ganon, Mewtwo (can be treated as one), King K Rule, King Dedede (granted he's a joke), and Ridley. Let's stop there.

Awesome roster. I only have a few suggestions:
1.Replace Toad with NES Mario to celebrate Ma rio's anniversary.
2.Get rid of Lucario(because he is outdated) and Pokemon Trainer(because he takes up too much data space)

Very nice ideas dude but if it were up to me i would do the following:
Geno instead of Toad. Sure Geno is only in one game but Toad. . just why. .?
Fawful instead of Bowser Jr. He's crazyness in the Mario rpgs games is just awsome. And i dont like Bowser Jr that much.
The Zelda ones are pretty god but i still would want Zant or Ghirahim in there.

Personally, as I only really care about/play Pokemon out of these games, I'm only going to comment on it;
I don't understand why Jigglypuff is still in SSB. He/she might have been relevant back in SSB1 when he was in the anime, but he's not anymore. I'd say two variations of Pokemon Trainer (one with 1st gen Pokemon and the other with 6th) should take the first two Pokemon slots. Zoroark and definitely Pikachu, but I'm iffy about Mewtwo and Lucario. It's difficult to pick Pokemon characters be

@Narutendo3 IMO needs more Fire Emblem characters. Only Hardin is new? Needs at least Micaiah. For like another magic oriented user. Or Ephraim or Eirika. Ephraim would be a cool addition with a lance, and Eirika would be another cool sword fighter. Lyn and the Black Knight would be epic as well. But other than that, great list man.

@Narutendo3 Actually, imo, the absence of Ganondorf will be pretty strong due to his absence in the latest Zelda game SS. The one who I think will replace him would most likely be Ghiriham (However you spell his name) considering he was the main protagonist in the last game. Who knows though, Ganon may be considered a vetran by now, though personally, I wouldn't count on it :/

@Racrblpg Star Fox doesn't really need a new rep, but I do recommend it. Also Tails would be from the Sonic series, which is a 3rd party series, and it wouldn't be good to have 2 characters from the same series that's 3Pty.

I have to say this is one of the best fake ssb4 rosters I've seen but a few things bug me such as skull kid without Majora's Mask, Zoruark is just an updated Lucario and it's not likely for both to be in there same as Mewtwo, a lot of clones, and I personally don't know who or what Sukapon is but it doesn't look like a character I would like being in the game. Other than that I really like it... and Impa?

Wow,that is a really good roster in my opinion,I like that you included Impa,I don't know why so many people don't consider her as a potential character and I also think that hardin is a good idea,but the fire emblem series is always hard to judge as of which character will be in the game.
Cloud is rather unlikely,because he never appeared in a final fantasy game on a nintendo console and it was his game that drove the ff series away from nintendo so I doubt they would include him.

Nice to see that others agree with me on Impa being in the game... She's the perfect Zelda character for the game. Like the other Zelda characters, she's been reincarnated throughout the series, but more importantly, she'd have a badass move set.

@ginga2122 Haha, that's a good question. If this was the roster for SSB4, I guess SSB5 would be the time to start giving actual consideration to characters like Waluigi, Geno, Funky Kong, another Pokemon Trainer of some sort, Dark Matter, Sylux, Balloon Fighter, Tingle, etc.

@Narutendo3 Yeah,but i think they should concentrate mosly on the fighting mechanics and enhancing movesets,if you know what i mean.Every character should have two fighting stances,as a result low tier characters will still have hope and wont be be left out to collect dust.I dont know about you,but i enjoyed ssbn64 the most in terms of gameplay.Btw are you going to make a new video.If you are i will give you ideas about what needs to changed and replace.I dont have the time to make a vid.

And Mother has had only three games which are barely played outside of Japan. In fact, I plan on taking out Lucas from my roster. (granted I'll be removing Black Shadow as well)

Very good list. My only issue is that the Black Knight was and wasn't an antagonist. The reasoning is that without him Micaiah wouldn't have lived to stop the main antagonists Sephraim and Ashera. Then you have differences between Japan Fire Emblem and North America, but they have no major differences. Other than those things it was a awesome list.

@Pachico760 I really don't know the story of Fire Emblem games too well. But I do know that a Black Knight is some sort of antagonist in many of the games. That is why I will be replacing Hardin with him in my updated roster later.

One thing bad with organization: Adding Sukapon is like adding the Ice Climbers or pit more than it is like adding Mr.Game or R.O.B.
I like the idea of keeping the major antagonist for the major series only. Bowser, Ganon, Mewtwo (can be treated as one), King K Rule, King Dedede (granted he's a joke), and Ridley. Let's stop there.
I think you are too left handed in balancing Major series : Misc.
