I am ashamed of my country for doing this. I know that is a huge generalization. But it is one that is deserved. Every point he has made, and every move he has made politically has been a moral one. We could argue about moral absolutes, etc. The point remains that marijuana is being shown to be an herb that is not only a symbol of freedom. How can certain human behaviors be permitted which are more dangerous to you (alcohol, tobacco) than another one that is safer but can land you jail time and effectively ruin your life? When a significant number of people don't agree with a law that doesn't make sense, then it should be changed, plain and simple.
