indeed, china's developing. however, i agree taiwan should remain politically independent for at least next 30 years. im not a taiwanese. However, i dont think china should reclaim taiwan until it has democracy. if anything like cultural revolution ever happen to china, then taiwan will be the only hope for democracy for chinese. remember, china is still a dictatorship government. when the time comes, i believe one day taiwan and china will become one country.

"Taiwanese" can be used to describe those that came from Fu-jian (福建) tens of years before Chiang Kai Shek brought the Chinese people over during the war. Wellll... that's the way I see it.

I have ever met this guy in Utube claiming that he is not a Chinese but Taiwanese. Well if a Yellow man(Chinese) was born in Africa and claim himself to be a Black(African), it just dunt make sense. I'm not trying to be racist and i dunt really have too much feeling for communist, but it is a truth that Taiwan ppl are classified as Chinese Blood.

No matter what the future political relationship between Taiwan and China is, people in both lands are still "Chinese" "Dragon's heritage" Chinese: not necessary meaning belonging to China the country, but the race, ancestor, the family. A lot of people don't get this idea.

I don't care whether you are Tanwanese or Chinese. I'm from PRC, though sometimes I do not agree the Communist Party, I still love my country. But anyway, we are all 华人.We're having the same history, we all suffered the pains and hurt. I really appreciate this song, and I hope it can wake more and more 华人 rather than causing more and more conflicts. And another thing is, I don't think that some Taiwanese people really know much about the my country's politics.

well said. I really don't care if taiwan break away from China. As long as you consider your self "Chinese" "dragon heritage" "know who you are, where you came from" i really don't care. Cause hey, like you said, we are the same, even if taiwan break away, it shouldn't and cant break the link between us.
