Really? The movie is quite stunning if you look past (and into the story behind) the scenes and just try to follow the psychological aspects of it. I'll admit, the first time I watched it... I was traumatized by the first few scenes that involved anything major... but eventually I looked past them and realized how brilliant and amazing this movie is. I love Neil's character. It's cool that you think differently.. Maybe watch it a second time, and pay attention to little things.

there's nothing worse than being indifferent, this movie won't leave you indifferent for sure. besides it's not just a story of a nancy boy, there's so much more behind it. and it's one of the best JGL's works imho
@30a18 I think to truly appreciate JGL you need to see this movie -it shows how talented and diverse an actor he is - almost on par with Leo DiCaprio imo.
when I saw JGL in this film was a revelation for me and already I liked him but this,... he is really GREAT, I deeply admire him like an actor, like artist and like person also

the character he plays in 500 days is a nancy boy (a loveable one) ... lol ... i <3 all of jiggle's (jgl's) roles ... the bloody scene is hard to watch, don't enjoy seeing a cutie be battered ... sniffing the dinosaur shirt, a childhood lost forever ...

I had forgotten how daring he is as a young actor in this film. It is a truly fukked up story, but well worth watching. Joe G-L's role is one of two main characters.

Haven't seen the film but I will say that Nancy Boy really does fit! Tragic storyline :( I'll have to watch it. What a monstrous predator @ 2:35, just the contrast in their size is so hideously tragic. Great editing, well done! *****

But it gets very disturbing and violent at some points :(
But it's a film worth seeing
