What an amazing find! I love the 4 Seasons! 60s member bass player Joe Long said he sang on this record but he was being pushed out of the group so this was his last recording.
There are some songs from back in the day that as u soon as u hear them ur transported back in time. This song has an amazing feel 2 it, so much character that it shows how beautiful music can be. Silver star, december1963 (oh what a night) ahh the memories.
I generally consider myself a "know it all" ;) but I just found out Franki Valli lives a few miles away from me! My Ex has seen him in the Vons, grocery shopping. If I ever see him, I'll tell him how all you guys love his work! Peace. :)
I love this song I was 11 years old when this album came out.Iwas one of those kids who had a transiter radio with me at all times. the radio was my friend. And now with the internet, I could listen to my freinds one more time. This part is, wierd, but I was dating a man that looks and sings like Frankie Valli! Hairline, mouth, height, chin. And the man I dated is 44, and Chico looks like Frankie in his 40's. weird.
Yes,I'm going to do it! Dad, Thank You for getting me addicted to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons! I can see why you liked them so much. I like them now.
I haven't seen this vision for years! What an absolute classic! Iv'e always liked this song, great hi-hats and the FVATFS harmonies! Top upload! But, I'd better like this song, coz these guys, I reckon they might some connections! Viva Italia
My first concert, Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons, it was 1976, I was 14, and still like this song as much today as I did then. I'm in love with this drummer!
Glad you like it. I'd like to be able to oblige you, but to post on youtube it had to be converted to WMA format which out sync'd the video. It took me quite a bit of time to get it as close as you see now with the program I have and I don't have the time right now to re-do it. When/if I can. I'll let you know. Thanks.
Great great video. The audio is a bit out of sync with video. Can you re-upload this video with audio in sync or if audio dubbed on here leave orignal audio so it is not off piutting being out of sync? Be happy if you could do this as have waited long long time for this video. Thanks again.
It was a clear crisp autumn night 1975. I'm in my 72 Nova SS headed up the Stevenson express way from the suburbs to Chicago. I glance over and see my girlfriend in her bell bottom jeans, her long dark hair and those emerald green eyes smiling at me. This song was playing on the radio. At that moment all was right in the world.
buena cancion de las cuatro estaciones. por favor pethanbuilt1, tienen Good bye girl( Adios muchacha) para que la bajen , no puedo encontrarla .gracias.
Reminds me of my teenage years in the mid 70's back in El Salvador. At one stage, Channel TV6 used to play a different song once every day in the evening between different shows on a weekly basis, this segment used to be called "The Song of the Week" and this song was one of them in 1975. Wish I could go back to the 70's.
Wow, growing up in Honduras, back in the early 70s, one of the 3 local TV channels used to fill in between shows, especially in the afternoons, songs like this one and December of 1963 by the FV & TFS. Thanks for posting it.
@dabrowska123 Hey, I'm a big fan of your music teacher! His lead vocals with the Four Seasons were gorgeous! Clear as a bell! Especially on the now-classic "December, 1963 (Oh What A Night)". I always wondered what became of him! Thanks for sharing!
thank you, petahbuilt for the great video of a great if not the greatest pop/vocal and a little rock here and there. interesting i knew this was joe longs last effort but did not know he assisted. i know frankie paid his salary for about a year after he left, kinda being forced out at the suggestion of certain new members. any truth to that?

I was going out with a girl back then in '76. I loved her real hard. We broke up. I was so unhappy, this song always reminds me of her pretty face .
Bless you Susie where ever you may be.
