Okay honestly you guys, I've had it with the Denny hate. This is clearly NOT Denny. This is just her innermost thoughts and feelings taking form in Denny. Denny only wanted the best for her. Izzie and Alex were never exclusive so Denny did not steal Izzy away. He was probably her first love (at least on the show) and she has a lot to learn from that experience.
This Denny represents all her fears, all her doubts. Denny is not the one standing between Izzy and Alex; Izzy is.
@A2daM2daZ You said that they were NEVER exclusive. Even when they weren't, Denny always seemed in the way. And when she started hallucinating him, that was the worst.
I loved Denny when he was dying and in the episode where meredith was dead -- in Izzie's head, not so much. lol, now he at least feels what Alex went through when Izzie fell for him and dumped Alex.

it's unbelievable, Denny had no charming type, he's just a corpse when he came to the hospital. I'm glad that Denny dead, and it's gonna be better if he just stay in his dark grave
omg that scene is so hot. I had a lot more respect and love for denny before he died and started messing izzie up.
