Flan, Suwako and Mokou are all supposively "related". Mokou means "Scarlet Sister" (Flandre SCARLET, Remilia is Flandre's sister.) Suwako and Flan both have spell cards that multiply them. Is that why you are doing those three bosses?

Not sure if this also applies to this particular game, but when it comes to replays the Touhou games speed up conversation. Even if that wasn't the case, this is the first time I beat this particular boss and after the twentieth attempt, reading the dialog gets tedious. There's a transcription of the dialog in the wiki if you want to read it.

Completely on purpose. Many things in Flan's fight are a reference to the book "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. Her theme song, her spell, and her dialog. Seemed natural for my annotations also to contain references.

It is NOT death waltz, and it is based off a character in the book that is supposedly the wife of a millionaire that never actually appears in the book. In reality, Death Waltz actually sounds completely different and those videos are mislabelled (it's really just a piano remix of this). It's mixed up because they're both almost impossible for someone to play.

@ultimatechucknorris that's cause people usually record the vids from replays, which automatically speeds thru the dialogues. only way to avoid that would be to either wait for the dialogues to automatically progress while playing, which is quite slow, so the sped up version would get about the right speed, but if you are not 100% able to do it at 1st try, then waiting for the dialogue in each try is boooring, or record while playing, which would waste space on each fail.

"shared" here... it doesn't looks to be TAS, and the slowdown rate is well within acceptable values. rather average for Imperishable Night. this is supposedly the "world record scoring run"... anyway, the guy's (or girl's..) impossibly reckless grazing methods are just insane. by the end of stage 2 he (or she) is already past 9.3k graze.

as for the reason of such intense grazing, besides awarding extra points by itself, notice how the decrease-over-time of bonus points for boss spellcards slows/stops, or with a fast enough grazing, the bonus may even be maxed-out. so yeh. 'tis a genuine, major scoring run with every possible scoring method used. i dare not imagine how much practice that may have took... D:
