  • after all of these trainings they say the breed is aggressive and prohibid it

  • It's twats like you that get Dog breeds banned!

  • Sick fucks

  • wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggg ourghhhhhhhhhhhhhh wwwwwwwruuuohhhhhh wwwweerrgrrgrgg

  • Wish the song hadn't quicked in. The 1st dog had the grizzliest chainsaw of a bark/growl!!!

  • that 4 years fila had a nice bite but i didn t saw the killer fila vs human

  • Great temperament I only have one question The filas natural instinct is to lunge for the Face not (throat) Fila means to hold i.e. hold the face, thats why the lunge up by instinct But I see hes going for the arm. Was that trained?? Also Great temp for the 11 month old. The fila I got from brasil was protecting me the minute he got off the plane 8 weeks and he was holding his ground. Where are these dogs from? Mine are from Minas Gearis (Spelling) From Ithaundu Also spelling may be wrong

  • Cool dog, shit song!!!

  • el perro pesa mas que su dueño

  • nice video, but the music is shit.

  • these dogs have no intrest to make friends with strangers .

he,s not agressive , he,s a litlle bit protective ...but most off all he not like strangers.

    great dogs these fila,s

    pretty powerfull too

  • Scary dog, what happens if he pulls loose? My GSD yanked me out of my shoes once, can you call them off, and will they obey/

  • Hmm. This Fila is not fear aggressive or poorly trained, this is the breed. Unfortunately, this video doesn't portray the REAL Fila.

A real Fila is 100% devoted to its owners, are amazing family dogs, and are total mush balls. They love to cuddle with their owners, fall them from room to room, and will do anything to see you pleased. With that being said, if they feel you are in danger, whether you are or aren't, THEN they behave as this. They'll do anything to keep you safe.

  • they are training it wrong all wrong

  • Why are you encouraging this dog to attack people?

  • That was some poor quality bite work. Were the dogs in control or the trainer....?

  • wish the song wasn't playin. that 1st dog has a hell of set of vocals!!

  • I love the Fila Brasileiro breed. I believe they are great dogs. I have been waiting for the opportunity to come along where i can finally buy one. If you do not like the breed don't view the video.

  • This video is very irresponsible. Yes, they're large dogs with a protective instinct but that does not necessarily mean they're aggressive, nasty dogs. Invariably, it's humans who can make certain dogs like this aggressive if they train them to be that way, or ill-treat them or whatever. Apparently these dogs can make very loving pets but they need to be treated correctly, the same as with any other dog or other pet.

  • There is nothing irresponsible about this video. It is a display of the Fila temperament in testing. They are supposed to be confident, loyal to family, and distrustful of strangers to the point of protection when a threat is present. They are not trained to be this way. They are BORN this way. My dogs are the most spoiled and perfectly loyal and sweet dogs in existence. They will prevent a threat before they'll attack, but will attack if they can't stop the threat. Doggy perfection.

  • @glhlb1408 This video gives the impression that these dogs are bred purely for aggressiveness, and potentially this could mean the Fila is given a bad image in some eyes in the same way that Pit Bulls have been misrepresented. I'm sure Filas can be protective and could be aggressive in certain circumstances, as can a lot of breeds of dogs who are innately protective of their family, etc, but making Filas seem to be particularly aggressive could be harmful to their breed in some ways.

  • @leicestergirl63 - Brazilian Fila are awesome when protecting Children. If one is ordered to guard a child the fila will not leave the child's side by any circusnsctance nor will he let strangers get close to it. As far as temperament they are about a docile as a Yorkshire - They are great family dogs, companion and protection.

This video is really misleading when protraying the dogs temperament.

  • this dog tiny compraed real dog like kangal or CO, tear this little shit apart

  • Fila brasileiro is dangerous dog

  • I HAVE BRED FILAS FOR 15 YEARS NOW, THE ANIMAL IS VERY EASY TO HANDLE, VERY LOVABLE AND LOVES PEOPLE. IT CAN BE AGRESSIVE IF KEPT CLOSED ON A JAIL LIKE HOUSE WICH IS NOT GOOD FOR ANY DOG SPECIALY FOR A GIANT DOG LIKE THIS BREED.

WHAT YOU CALL OJERIZA IS NOTHING BUT NEUROSIS FROM A POOR ANIMAL BEING KEPT AWAY FROM TRUE HUMAM CONTACT.

ALL MY FILAS HAVE NEVER ATTACKED ANYONE, THEY LIVE FREE IN MY COTTAGE AND THEY ACCEPT ANYONE'S APROACH.

THE DOG SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOU, NOT THE OPPOSITE

  • @jeanibiuna I'm sure most of what you have said is very true. However, you're wrong in saying that "the dog should take care of you, not the opposite." Any caring owner of any type of pet would take care of their pet properly and look after it. No animal should be neglected and kept just as protection. Unfortunately there are many animals that are neglected and ill-treated, and there are many "bull breeds" such as pit bulls, which are.

  • that dog scare me lol

  • The 11 month old dog is fear aggressive, not protective

  • @MsUnpredictable100 ..ur absouletely right ! Great observation

  • Comment removed

  • @MsUnpredictable100 i agree completly

  • i have two fila's , they are amazing , very protective but i think that these are the nicest dogs for their family ! but they do not trust strangers !

  • Orgulho de ser BRASILEIRO!!!

  • I checked a home once as the alarm went off. They had two of these dogs. They had a twelve foot fence and the dogs could easily jump six to seven feet without a running start. They showed no fear and did not calm down until I was completely gone. Only for serious dogs people.

  • Nope dont think so but that would suck lol. I dont care for this one either. I love the breed dont get me wrong just dont like these filas i want to see a stronger temp not this shit.

  • In the first years had few problems, I was a kid and always walked him alone on the street , he scared people because is a big dog, but never bit any person or dog. While at home it was hard to get someone if he didnt know, i had to close him or have the attention for him not to attack. He has his room and his bed. I love him, i always give him love and attention.

  • I made that question because @shakeybaby dont know what is saying, u dont need to train a fila to have at home. The rotts and dobermans are very dangerous like a fila, the important its the owners.I have one fila with 11 years, I'm 25. His sister was dangerous but she wasnt in my possession, died with 6 or 7 years old.

  • @shakeybaby do u know someone who have a fila brasileiro?

  • hi, the best breeder is canil itanhandu. if you need help, can contact me.

    best regards

    marco

  • @truefila79 An Indian making a buck on doing nothing but making dogs fuck. How suprising. Kick him in the nuts for me.

  • @LexeyPdB I do and you don't have to teach them this....makes me so mad when i see this they are good dogs and will protect no need to teach them this

  • they are too dangerous.

they are naturally aggressive towards strangers no matter what.

they are bred to attack anyone who they arent raised with.

i would rather have a well trained rottie or dobermann.

  • The difference between these dogs and others is that it's encouraged for them to be aggressive. The breed standard has it written in there. Yes, they are dangerous. But they serve a purpose in rural areas. For people WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. That's the point. Perfectly fine to have one protecting your lively hood in a place where there is little chance of mistaken identity to occur. Only an idiot would keep one in the city. Other "dangerous" breeds can be sweet pets. These are not pets.

  • The 1st dog bit with conviction, although I wouldn't say confidence, he screamed the whole time in fear. The second dog cowered and even backed away when going for it's second bite. If the dog was off leash, it would've ran. The "Popular" molossor mutts don't cut it in real world protection. A solid stick hit with a standard Schutzhund stick likely would've made them bolt (especially the tan/yellow one). I see fear aggressive dogs, not mighty guardians.

  • soo true!

  • scary and I really dont understand why you support such a behaviour!!

  • so than according to you REMEMBERINGTHETIME no one is allowed to own a protection dog for home or business? maybe we should rid all police dogs too and guns and knifes and bats etc etc etc and all be happy little liberals like you.

  • I didn't say that. I have nothing against owning protection dogs for home or business, but I think, that one should not support the behaviour of massive protection, because if you do so, the dogs can be very aggressive against anybody coming near. It's dangerous for everybody involved to support such a behaviour and additionally for the dog it's only stress. There's a reason for my thinking and no need to get offensive. Thanks!

  • Qual a 1° musica?

    What is the 1st music?

  • Can't repeat "The Offspring"

  • .....bestia

  • TransPersonal123 my fila could eat your Shepards/Malinois/Dutchies and even Rotties and Dobes while he is fighting off the aggressor rotties suck and dobes are mean in movies. I love my fila and would have no worries that my dog would protect me with out training

  • the internet brings out the biggest mongs, any dog can be aggresive, what a silly thing to say about dobermans. My experiance with dogs is rotties are brilliant all round guard dogs, they are big, powerful, fearless and main difference between rotts and other big dogs is rotts are still very fast because of their compactness. filas are still brilliant and if they were not banned in the u.k. id probably have one

  • yh yur ryt in sumways, but these dogs are more powerful than any of them dogs, but less trainable

  • oh and yest, when they can, they always go for the throat, even jump if they must. most will even run to the agressor and make them fall with their backs against the ground. Saw my filas and many others doing this by insting while playing.

  • filas need no defense / guarde training. they are naturals. obedience is ok, but this "you gotta tell him when to atack" does not apply here. Filas are perfect guard dogs. They do what no other dogs will. they will die defending you without blinking once. Filas are the top guard dogs. Period. I had dobermans, rotties, and german sheppards. Nothing compares. Filas all the way. Smart, brave, loyal, friendly to the family always, and a big fucking problem for thieves.

  • If you have seen some fila's in action you know that most of them will not go for the arm. The will take the arm spit it out ang go for the throat.

It's true a good fila does not need training but many people would like to see this and on cafib shows dogs are also trained to to this.

You can also see looking at the young male when it bites it looks at the owner being not sure if it can bite.

A good fila can feel danger when it's sees that you are afraid or even raise your voice to someone.

  • You cannot train this dog to be friendly with strangers, if you read the breed background you will understand why, thats just the way they are, they are great pet family, but not to take in the park on sundays, I know because I grew up with one.

  • Comment removed

  • They aren't ''training'', but its ok, whatever.

Beautiful dog anyways, but I would not have outside Brazil, its a laded gun.

  • Damn ... i like this video... that dog is machine.

  • Our Fila is generally a very sweet boy, but even though he gets along well with people he's seen enough, he can and will scare off others. We aren't professional dog trainers by any means, just a family with a penchant for big dogs, and he rarely cops an attitude with us.

If so though, you have to remember that you're the boss. If you don't want him on your bed, it ain't gonna happen. :-P

  • Have to disagree with the comment bellow. A dog like a fila will and should attack without warning as he is made purely for guarding against strangers or big game. He is not your average pet poodle.

If you have a big house with lots of land to protect this is your dog, just don't expect him to get on with your friends.

  • exactly. If u want to train them to atack after u say so, there is no point in getting a fila, get a rotweilet then. Just get a good fila and he will get the job done. No need to interfear.

  • The dog should only attack on command.

It should never initiate the attack on its own.

  • i understand that it is this breed's instinct to protect their family, but losers are encouraging aggressive behavior in the dogs. sad. very very sad.

  • I love my Fila! He did not need to be trained to be aggressive it's in his blood. He the most sweetest gentle, dog with me. Obedience training is the key. But God help any one who tries to hurt me.

  • damn !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 'The Fila Brasileiro is an excellent estate guardian. It does not hide its dislike towards strangers, consequently these dogs are not disqualified from the show ring for showing aggression to the judge.'

'Very few will accept strangers. Many Filas will never tolerate any stranger.'

This is straight from wikipedia on this breed.

This dog isn't bred to do this, it's IN it's genes.

  • Its dick heads like this that fuck it up for everyone else, the dogs are only as fucked up as there owners

  • Actually filas are meant to do this. They are meant to be guard dogs. They are not your family pet you take to the park on sundays you ignorant prick.

  • This is proper Fila temperament with a threatening stranger, yet they are safer with their family than your typical German guarding breeds and will rarely challenge their owner for dominance. VERY few people however should own this breed as most people are not responsible enough.

  • If you don't anything about filas this is only how they act when someone they do not know approaches their owner.

  • I tottaly agree with xemptybrkneyesx. It's terrible to train your dog like that. I had a fila when I was growing up in Brasil, and he was the sweetest dog ever!!! It's a wonderfull breed.

  • I wouldn't train my dog to do this, for one reason. Let's say you're walking down the street and an old friend you haven't seen in awhile pats you on the back and says "Hey buddy, how've you been?" What's the dog going to do if you jump and turn around like wtf? Exactly, take his arm off.

A dog doesn't have to be aggressive to be a good guard dog. This is how dogs like pits get their bad reputations.

    Sad.

  • id be more scared of the owner in his double denim and crazy grey wig. bet he's done some raping in his time...

  • hahaha

  • honestly think dogo is the best dog but...

i found a dogo/fila mix best dog ever looks like a dogo just with a shiny brown n white coat.(mixes have less health problems)

  • you call that a real gaurd dog LOL I have seen better alot better

  • I like this dog !

  • ld loved 2 get 1 butt ..l cantt because they are banned in england ..how sad the stupid goverment banz dd best breedz e.g japanese tosa N fila z N dogo z....very sad

  • how is the breed with other dogs? or do they tend to behave the same way they do around strangers? Just wondering, no plans on getting one, no way near expereinced for such a dog, but they are so great

  • Fila is da best!

  • Brilliant show of a true Fila Brasileiro's temPeramenT. :)

  • fila brasileiro éo melhor cão de guarda do mundo!!!!

  • best dog ever i have to so loyal

    and complete assholes to strangers!!

  • for this reason, and people who taught them to attack, and gave them their bad reputation, these dogs have been banned in the UK.

  • This is very true. My Fila has never recieved any Attacking nor Defensive training, yet he guards the house, me and my family.

He is very sweet once he sees a person is welcomed in the house by any of us.

The Fila is a good guard dog. Congratulations, good video.

  • Totalmente de acuerdo.

  • Fantastic video!!! Awesome example of the temperment. I LOVE MY FILA!!

  • Is this an awesome example of the Fila's temperment? Or an awesome example of an irresponsible owner? I have a Fila and would be very surprised if she barked at a stranger in my presence, NEVERMIND ATTACK THEM!!!! I have never come across a sweeter animal than my girl. She watches over children, very gentle, quiet, loving, obidient.... Owners like this is the reason Pitt Bull Terriers have such a bad reputation!

  • I have a 4yr old male Fila, 168 lbs.he and I went to obedience training together and he has an awesome disposition too, not trusting strangers, but tolerant of them if ok'd by me, absolutely loves children and is not dog/animal aggressive. He did scare me though, we had a drunk try to come in the house, my wife screamed as he came in to the kitchen and the dog pulled him to the floor,i could not get him under control for several tense moments, the guy went to ICU with major damage.I love my fila!

  • ur fila must not be a full blood fila, its int heyr gene, any professional breeder will tell you that, filas were made to hate strangers

  • You're exactly the kind of person I'm speaking of. Are you next going to tell me that I haven't met more than a dozen gentle, loving PURE BREAD PIT BULLS!? you breed hate

  • no actually i got friends who have g reat pits and are actually friendly with other dogs too. i dont breed hate im just stating the fact that filas were bred to hate strangers. go on any page of fila breeders and u will see that. ur fila may be an exception but 99 percent of filas arent like that

  • the dog shown taking a sleeve bite and then tied out to the tree is weak nerved and shows signs of avoidance. the fila is an impressive dog but many show bad traits. how do they stand up in such training as american srteet ring etc.?..impressive dogs but i need to see more other than some threat display,,,one bite and them some avoidance,,,,

  • Looks more like the dog is pretty new to the game as in the agitator. When a dog comes forward but is not biting he should run so the dog is rewarded and put into more drive. Sneaky re-approach and another run. Then a approach and run pass the dog on a angle so the dog can take the sleeve without being intimidated by the front on approach.
