  • thats nice

  • @ATP6TS well no actually when goldfish age they turn white. if properly taken care of they will live long and turn white loosing their colors like a black hair puppy turning to a gray haired dog

  • @ATaker7 I've only seen one goldfish live long enough for that to happen and that was the oldest goldfish in the world.

  • Clown loach with cold water fish??? Sad.... Also, that tank is WAY over stocked.

  • @ATP6TS Ya, He is very sick. Other than that I wouldn't know. Or you aren't giving him enough varied foods. You can also buy some color enhancer flakes. But definitely don't skip on the live and fresh foods.

  • Way too many fishes in that tank -_-

Just for the clown loach... a fish that needs to be at least least 3 (6 ideally)!! And yeah, they grow up to 25-30 cm... Where will that fish go...?

  • @Vandalah The fish were traded in years ago.

  • @Paws24live Live plants help oxygenate the water, they are aesthetically more pleasing to the eye and fish like them better bc they can munch on them or the algae that grows on them.

    Get a canister filter.

  • tank is way to small for those fish their just suffering.nice job retard!! just flush em and put them out their misery. lmao you retard newbie get your facts straight from a guy like me 15 plus years of fish breeding and selling.

  • do you need to feed the pleco

  • @ColinM0961 of course

  • @fischersrt do you feed it pellets

  • @ColinM0961 I fed it tablets and it ate all of the other foods in there too. The goldfish ate the algae tabs as well.

  • the loaches are fine with goldfish and plecos are good with loaches too!!!

  • man i am confused how come clown loaches are there

    ?????

  • are these goldfish tropical?

  • I have had a pleco in with a clown before, and they did well together! The problem with a clown with goldfish though, is that they like to suck the mucus off the sides of the fish sometimes, which can cause infection. If the clown is leaving them alone, they should be ok though. Ratio of clowns, is one alone, or three or more! Seems to be happy to me!

  • i have 2 gold fishes..but dnt the baby ones get eaten by ur bigger ones??

  • whats the name of the algae consuming fish, the black colored one, i have two, but i dont know the name. thanks (:

  • @Xbox360owner68 Pleco

  • @fischersrt its really a placostamas i used to own 1 that was 10 in. long

  • I can only imagine how much poop is produced from those fish..

  • What Type Of Water Do You use Here?

  • @2424Anthony I don't know what you are talking about. Tap water is probably what you are looking for.

  • They look very beautiful and healthy,

    Whats there diet?

  • @MrRawrllyX I used to feed them goldfish flakes, frozen fish food packs, live algae, peas, larvae, brine shrimp.

  • @fischersrt Oh cool ive used Flakes and brine shrimp and soon im going to try peas! :] You just cook them then take of the skin part right? How many per fish?

  • @MrRawrllyX No it's a lot simpler than that. You just that some peas from a frozen bag and take off the shell and drop in the tank. The goldfish will go nuts and it has an added benefit in that it keeps them regular. Goldfish can get constipated. I wouldn't feed goldfish too many brine shrimp though BC of the salt. Algae, peas, cut up greens, etc can work. Just be careful not to foul the water and don't feed too much.

  • @fischersrt Ahh right okay, I just tried peas with my fish your right they did go nuts!!

And you wait till they defrost right

I noticed one of my fishes poop had bubbles on it, it was like seethrew thats bad isent it? What does it mean

  • @MrRawrllyX Ya definitely wait until the peas are soft or either the fish won't eat it or it could get lodged in it's throat if you have big goldfish.

About the clear poop....you may want to check to see if it looks like worms. Otherwise it may be undigested food. It's a good idea to have access to a microscope (seriously) and then you can examine it properly. Otherwise look for a magnifying glass.

  • @fischersrt Ok thanks, what if its worms?

  • @MrRawrllyX Then you need a de-wormer. Check it out first. If you need it then go ask at your local fish store. There should also be symptoms that you can read on the back of the med boxes. But ask what works best and don't do anything until you are definitely sure that there is a problem.

  • @fischersrt Ok thanks your great help (; xx

  • Did you know clown loaches can get 12" long? That's overcrowding right there with the pleco with a potential of 24" ..... If you care about the well-being of your beautiful goldfish, stick to one species - or category - tropical or Coldwater... don't mix them as it's just unhealthy in the long-run.

  • @RyukinPrincess Ya and that one never did. I had him before the goldfish came along. I never did want them but my girlfriend did so we picked 2 up and they prodiced all of these. As far as the tank goes these fish were moved around since I had several other tanks and I was constantly trading them in. You should also read the other comments since I've answered that question about a hundred times. But you are right that a few fish in a large tank of same living conditions is best. Of course.

  • @fischersrt weird.. Guess you're lucky :D Just be careful . I love my fish and I know Goldfish can live up to 30 years with the oldest reaching 40! That's why the emperors kept them so long. And yes, I know you've answered the questions - sorry - just a loving goldy addict.. hah hah....

  • @RyukinPrincess The oldest koi recorded lived to 226 (c. 1751 – July 7, 1977). Pretty wild huh.

  • tank is not over crowded.. goldfish is a fish species than can live in crowded conditions once there is proper filtration... which this user clearly has. I'm tired of seeing people complaing abt keeping fish when they really don't know anything themselves except for what they are told at the retail chains by associates... who know nothing abt fish keeping themselves and their fish comes from crowded fish farms which are even worst... been keeping fish all my life in south and north america.

  • In a 55g you can put up to 3 goldfish. Plus, clown loaches and plecos are not compatible with goldfish.

  • nice Gf's! visit my channel ^^ tnx

  • nice gf's can you check mine at my channel. tnx

  • I have a 56G tall tank...Don't ya think that tall tanks are much better? Everyone thinks my tank is a 30 in a pic but in person they think it's huge! I like your tank!

  • @ciciironwill27 I always wanted a tall tank so I was glad to get that one. It was a kind of a special edition tank to they stopped making it. But 60 gallons is not big at all. I would like to have a much bigger tank now. We'll see. I still have a biocube 29 that I haven't used as well.

  • tank is overcrowed

  • holy cow thatz a niece tank. r those plants real?

  • @Fishchick97 yes

  • nobody cares what kind of camera you took it with

  • Uuuh I beg to differ with you. Now get your head back down there!

  • clown loaches and plecos are not compatible. jenruchito76 is right

  • Generally yes but here they were compatible for the time that they spent together. No fish esp goldfish are compatible with a small glass box or bowl, that's why you have to manage everything.

  • Nice tank and fshes too , But that plecus are not compatible with goldfish i heard of people that plecus are Kill goldfishes just could happen any time i guess prevention is the key

  • Never had a problem with that. I'm not sure how that could happen anyway.

  • Well the plecos can suck on the goldfish slime coat which leads to infections...

  • Nope never happened. Sometimes the pleco would drive the goldfish away from him though. But mostly he was well fed an as long as he had some live food (goldfish too) and a shady spot he didn't care. Mostly the goldfish were a little obnoxious bc they would bump into the other fish.

  • every pleco i've had in the past was a goldfish killer... beautiful tank but be careful whith those plecos... regardless on what you feed them.... I had 1 for 5 years and he grew... if you look at my tropical tank videos... but i had to give him away because of his behavior.. I called him dragon bc of that...

  • The pleco's can attach themselves to the sides of fish and it ruins their outer slime coating, probably more so on flatter type fish, like discuss and angels

  • That never happened. As with any set up you have to monitor the tank and it's inhabitants. Any agression or problem results in a fish being moved. Again this was a temp set up and the pleco was always in this tank except when there was an overgrowth of algae in another tank.

  • @fischersrt I can tell you how that could happen...the pleco will suck on the side of the fishes body just like they would the side of the tank. I learned the hard way and my Ranchu got a huge gouge (which was red) on the side of his body and the other fish would peck at it. Thankfully I got him out in time and healed him with melafix, and gave my pleco away. Never again.

  • @Ultranothing My pleco never showed an interest in that. If it did then I would move it to a different tank. He did chase the goldfish away from time to time though.

  • @fischersrt I suppose that every pleco, like every human, is different in it's own ways, but pleco's are much more active at night (when you turn the light off) and that's when they prey on the goldfish, which are slower and usually sleeping in the dark.

While some people may have had luck, I wouldn't put my goldfish at risk.

  • @Ultranothing I never saw any scales off on my fish. I get your point though. It's something that I would watch for.

  • @Ultranothing mine swims mostly in the day lol

  • iive had my plecos with my goldfish for bout 3 years they were all babies when i got them perfectly fine since

  • i love that botia

  • all your fish look insanly happy. Hey i have a pleco but its still small and i was wondering how you know when to give your pleco an algea wafer because i cant see all the algea but there is always still some there that i might come across but i still feel like he is hungry...so how can you tell when you need to suppliment your little sucker friend?

  • Always give them algae wafers. I gave himt algae wafers several times a day. The rule is give them enough but not to make them full or be left and pollute the water. I would also harvest live algae to give to him. The goldfish also ate the wafers but were kind of like "mikey" - they would eat anything.

  • You can look at his stomach to see if he's hungry too.

  • No my fish never had ich. that's usually just how that fish swam bc his tail was bent down. I left on vacation for 2 weeks and when i came back his tail was bent down like that. I guess it was stress. Sometimes the water would also get too acidic and that would make him scratch. Some of my other goldfish would get fungus though.

  • Does the goldfish have ich infection? my goldfish also rub against the surface from time to time.

  • wow! clean fish tank

  • That's BC I had a lot of filtration.

  • hey i like your tank, if people thought your set up is weird then they will also think mine is. i keep 2 pearlscale goldish 8 neon tetra and 9 black phantom tetra and one of those sucker things. they live happy together leave eachother well alone. i did try introducing some guppies but they were a nightmare kept bullying the larger goldish. i keep the heater around 25-26.i really dont think there is any textbook rule to keeping fish, as long as you keep your eye on em and no wen somethins wrong

  • Just for the concern of the fish's needs, this is not a well-planned tank. One clown loach, when there ougth to be at least three? With goldfish? And other tropical species?

Sorry, but this is not a successful mix.

  • Sorry but this was a successful mix. The clown loach swam with the other fish and the other fish were also fine in personality with each other. I do have to remind people to read the other posts. I keep saying that this was a temp situation for this video bc I traded the fish in right after I did this. I just did this for the video.

  • just wandering is this tank heated or coldwater as im planning to set up an aquarium and was wandering if the other fish apart from the goldfish are fine in coldwater cheers

  • They aren't fine in coldwater

  • The tank was heated but the heater only came on in winter. The lights and the indoor temp kept the tank pretty regular. Also these fancy goldfish like the temp that the tank was kept at.

  • Whoa that algae eater is huge

  • I've seen them to about 1/2 to 1/3 of this tank, much bigger. That tank is 4 feet long.

  • pleco's grow to about 2ft

  • It depends on their environment.

  • Comment removed

  • wow thats the prettiest goldfish tank i ever saw^^ and there all sooo cute^^

  • hey do u have any neons in there... and if u do do your gold fish try to eat them cause im thinking of geting some neons.

  • I didn't have neons but I did have a few danios. These danios actually bred and I found the fry in my canister filter.

Also generally if a fish can fit into another fishes mouth then the other fish will try to eat it.

Neons would not like to be in a tank with goldfish. That's just my opinion.

  • ok thanks for the info

  • ooo pretty im looking to decorate my tank a bit better

  • ok, sorry but anyway great fish and i love the pleco :)

  • That's just the way he swam. I went away on vacation for 2 weeks a couple of years ago and when I came back his tail was bent down and he had trouble turning.

  • Why don't you people who want to complain read the previous posts. These fish have all been traded in which means that I don't own them anymore. The rest of the information on these fish is in the previous posts.

  • it looks like that big white goldie has something wrong with it, it keeps on scratching its body along the gravel ?

  • That's just the way that he swam. He never had a problem with the water. He is the father of all the other goldfish in the videos and plenty more that weren't in any videos that I had already traded in.

  • The goldfish and catfish live at room temp. In the winter I use a heater to keep the tropical fish happy.

These fish were only together temporarily though and have all been traded in.

  • do the goldfish eat the guppies or do they get along and are able to be in the same tank. i have goldfish and i want to get guppies

  • Do cory cats and goldfish get along good?

  • no problems with good filtration. You have to study up on the fish that you want to put in your tank

  • How many times a month u change and wash de tank?

  • 10% water change per week

  • is that a Pleco on the front of the tank ? i have had one for about 3 years and it has never changed size

  • Yes it is. You have to give enough space and give live (green) food if you want him to grow. I just gave him up yesterday to the fish store for credit and in the tank next to where they put him was a pleco at least 5 times this pleco's size. Just feed your fish live food.

  • Is that tank tropical or cold?

  • room temp.

The tank was never that cold or hot and

none of the fish ever had a problem with the teperature.

The tank has changed since the video

  • The clown loach may need some more loaches. They are very social. Just my thoughts. :p

  • He socializes with the cory cats and some of the other fish as well. That tank has changed since that video was taken.

  • There are no Guppies in the tank with Goldfish anymore. They are now in separate tanks.

  • no effence i like the tank and some fish but dont just add up the tank with goldfish, guppies, and a big catfish.i think you should wait ultil the fish die and add some salt water fish.people say there hard but its not im 10 with saltwater fish, and they look nice.thanks nice vid

  • I started with guppies and tetra because I used them to cycle the tanks. Then we bought 2 Oranda goldfish and they bred (as do the guppies frequently) so that's why there are so many goldfish. I keep trading in the goldfish and the guppies. So right now I have goldfish tanks and guppy tanks and am enjoying them, they're easy to keep.

I may in the future try some clown fish or a saltwater puffer but I haven't decided yet. I need a bigger tank.

  • very nice!

  • beautiful x

  • beautiful x

  • Beautiful tank, you should add the Maglife system, they work and look great.

  • very pretty!

  • Beautiful fishies!
