I fell in love with a horse, we showed once, and did a couple of jumping courses together in lessons, but she's only 6 and bucks every time i get on her, I've stayed on all times except one, but now, Im not allowed to buy her cuse my parents want me to get a safer horse, how can i convince to get me a horse now? there a little hesitant :/
I'm in my 40's..I still don't own a horse, but I volunteer at a horse rescue, so that's part of the dream. I give my love and care to the horses and watch them come back to life. Each one carries a part of my soul, and I carry a part of theirs....
Once I read:"There is horse for everyone. There is one for you" This is for all girl's and boy's that want to get a horse! My mom said that maybe the horse I'm dreaming about isn't born yet! I hope everyone get's their own dream horse! =)

I'm really sorry to hear that ppl are being jerks! I have run into a few bully's in my lifetime...as for advise, never give up what you dream for, what you live for. Life is to short, so enjoy the ride! Best of luck my friend! Keep me posted on your journey.
if you live in australia i ahve one for sale lol. you just need to keep at it and forget abuout the snobs and find the good people that are in it for the fun not to show off all their money. :)

@LilRachael1 Hey, do you live in the UK? im not sure about America, but here in the UK you can do an NVQ in horse care at some stables, just have to look around, with this you get to spend your weekends looking after and caring for horses properly, and get to ride them for free as part of it at most stables. What more could you ask for? AND you get a recognised qualification out of it!!! also have you looked into sharing? wb, sarah xx
@SewahFwancesca Hii Yeapp I live in the UK England xx <3and yeahh My stable does that but they dont do free rides they do horse care and also you can loan a pony for £50 a WEEK which I find really expensive as I would have to pay :'( Also yeah I looked into Sharing but my Mum wouldnt let me she always says "Well you had your chance and you ruined it, you could be going down every day and riding horses all the time but you stoped going." Anyway thanks for the help xx <3 :P
@LilRachael1 hiii im at the stage i do riding alot and im helping out at the stables i wish i had one too i havent stopped but what i would do is change stables maybe pony camp till you get great and dont give up ! :) x

Yeapp that is great advice but I did change stable and I didn't enjoy it as much I never looked forward to the next lesson or anything, and as soon as I went back to my normal stable I loved it ... Yeahh I might be going on a horse holiday soon so hopefully I will improve there :):) Also my mum started riding so if she improves she might think of possibly getting a horse (Not sure though) ... I will try and keep going as I do love horses !!!! Thanks xx :):)

my mom isnt afraid of me getting hurt( or unless she isnt showing it). I was in illinois( im from cali) grooming one of her friend's horses and i was standing behind him brushing his tail... Those horses WILL NOT kick you if you stand behind them. When i was riding one of the horses he hasnt been ridden in a while he started bucking but i stayed on and didnt even have a chance of falling.( it was western and i want to have hunter/jumper lessons)
My mopm said the same thing about me having a horse.. that it was to expensive, but i was taking lesson 25bucks a lesson for 8years, and then it was still no for a having and horse so i decide to have a job and i buyed my own horse about 8months ago and im payng my boarding and everything.. so maybe you can try that..
