  • I am sorry it wás george duke lol :) got mixed up myself whoa :)

  • Indeed it was 75 not 77. Also you name all kinds of keyboard players -names he indeed played with- but the keyboardplayer on silly putty was frikkin' Jan Hammer, not "that's gotta be george duke" as you say proudly at 3.14.

Also in the section played in A you mix up the minor for the major scale in youre singing.

And indeed it was his 3rd not 2nd album album. Love your spirit , but get you're facts straight :)

  • you expressed the song the best i've ever seen or heard you should have been a fyousion D.J.

  • thats a funk face if I ever saw one :) Just about to cover this one, hope it comes out ok!!

  • i'm 29--heard this tune when I was 15 sifting through some records in the music room at school. Almost fell of my seat! From then, I continued to investigate Steve Gadd and Stanley...awesome!! They don't make music like they used to.

  • That must be Steve Gadd on the drums. That sound like Gadd's signature playing style.

  • Oh... And it was 1975, not '77.

But I dig how you're gettin' into it! Go 'head on!

  • "Journey To Love" was Stanley's THIRD album, coming after "Children of Forever" and "Stanley Clarke".

  • lazer beam accuracy in your comments and observations, as ever!

  • - thats right .... :))
