Gene-Therapy Pioneer Convicted of Abuse

A University of Southern California scientist known as the father of gene therapy, was convicted in July of molesting the daughter of a scientist who worked for him. Dr. Anderson, 69, will be sentenced in November and faces as many as 22 years in prison for one count of continuous sexual abuse and three counts..
