@xyzqwa Try it out on steam i think it is there for digital download but im not sure just try it. If you cant find a way to buy it you could probably "pirate" it :D hehe but this game deserve it to be bought :D

God, this game has so many mods and addons. I remember when I was playing this game all the time with my mate, we had like 1000+ addons. Everything you want, animals, knights, WW1, WW2, Modern War, Robots, cars like BMW, Formmula 1 etc. Porns :D, zombies and even star wars ;D But the websites that I had these addons from are not exist anymore :( I got 5GB of addons on CD but there were much moree. My folder with that game had over 10GB :D

@tokorev747777 Yea my Toshiba 17" laptop I got last year plays it well but struggles with ArmA. It's funny since it can handle Left For Dead and even Doom III at max settings. I'd think a duo core could handle it but doesn't. Probably a quad.

@KingKonb948 I know that, I'm talking about for Armed Assault. Which has the same annoying nuisances at least to me that OFP had, difference being that OFP had an excuse. Armed Assault 2/ OA; whatever, really doesn't have any excuse. Don't have to be over the top arcadey but at least SOME effects would be nice.

@Zacq768 Would be better if they at once added to technical aspects like say ragdoll and envoirment damange cause damn its weak when something is hit by an explosion or car and does the standing slide while flying whichever direction, then finally going into a dying animation when stops, said effect which is visable in this video. Or shooting a house with a tank and it does the weird paper origami thing instead making a hole or whatever.

And I also recognize the green constant and annoying green information things, with the annoying computer's voice. Hah! :D

Nah man its alright. its a bit confusing.

Arma (Bohemia Interactive) uses the Operation flashpoint engine, and have been building the engine making it prettier over the years. Version 3 of the engine is Arma 2.

Its why they are so similar, the only reason its called Arma and not Operation Flashpoint 2 is because Codemasters took the rights to the flashpoint name and developed "Dragon Rising"... and instead of making it like OFP 1, they turned it into a more Mainstream FPS game.

@emacdaddyfunk You need Operation Flashpoint: Resistance or GOTY (Game Of The Year) with 1.96 Resistance/GOTY patch. Then you click on Multiplayer and click on the LAN (if it is there) and change it to Internet then you refresh and wait some seconds and then you get a server list.

copy the modfoldier @ww4mod1 into the operation flashpoint foldier and create a shortcut and write in the target line "C:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANC­E.EXE" -nomap -nosplash -mod=@ww4mod1" maybe its in other foldier but try this out
