Ah, but there are two ways to interpret this data. They are choosing to interpret the neural activity as the brain making a decision. As one who believes the brain is a filter for consciousness, not the producer of consciousness - I would interpret it as the brain responding to the decision that I am making.

Intuition is basically the ability to detect your own decisions and assumptions. Say you realize completing a difficult task is not of any benefit or that lack of a skill may be no noticeable issue, you are better off not proving by doing. Examples could be playing the piano instead of doing maths or vice versa.

Is it possible based on Samuel Wang's statements, that "intuition" is actually an individual's ability to tap into that portion of the brain that has already formed a semi-coherent picture of a person or scenario and acts on that pre-conscious information?
