2010 Marine Corps Marathon - Route and Memorable Moments

My brother ran this last year and going to DC to support him gave me some of the greatest memories I hold dear. What an inspiration!

This was my first marathon and this video captures the feeling wonderfully. I know I'm in the scene of the long 180-degree pan at the start corrals (about halfway thru the pan) but I think some taller guys were standing in the way and blocking me out!

Great video! Really captures the essence of the race. You must have great video stabilization on your camcorder. I ran the marathon as well. Carried my Flip camcorder throughout the race. Very nice job. Did you run and video? If so, very well done. I was in the start coral right in front of the camera so i was surprised to see myself! I'm making a FCPro movie from the still shots i took with my camera. I would have liked to have had video as well. Great job putting it all together. Very well done.

@jeffcberry - Thanks for the feedback. I did run the marathon and tape along the way (37 minutes of video and photos). I enjoy doing this so others can see what the race course looked like. Disney Marathon--my buddies ran the Goofy Challenge and said it's great although i seem to recall weather was tough that weekend.
