Hey i just got my shiny giratina today after about 4 days of soft resetting :) my first shiny legendary!

@pyrogod67 first shiny for me (not red gyarados included) was a shiny oddish that came when i gave up all hope in my shiny hunting. Then a shiny Giratina in pearl but my litle bro "accidentely" did the save game erase button combo. That giratina was a shiny from THE START (i know really lucky :P)

I am trying to soft-reset for a shiny Charmander on my Leaf Green, but I will continue to play through my Platinum for the second time as I do so. When I get to Giratina, I'm DEFINITELY going for a shiny. :3

It's some kind of counter. You can also use the Counter App on your Pokétch, but you'd have to save lots of times, which would slow you down. Not recommended, but keeps tracks of reset attempts. ;)

I was over 2 weeks, but I didn't SR all days per week and I only was 2 or 3 hours... In normal conditions it would take you over 4/5 days. Very luck!
