  • This is a nice video, but how do we actually FIX the key that is not working? I can remove and replace the keys and their hinge pin mechanisms all day, but isn't there something else we need to do to get the key working again? I have several keys on my Acer TravelMate C300 that work just like the 1st example you show here, the key feels like it is working, it goes up and down smoothly, but it does not produce a text character in any form of software. Isn't there something to do with the cup?
