I learned it by ear for the melodic lines, and the chording I think I read off of a guitar tab/chord chart that I found via some very simple googling. And maybe by ear on some of that too.

Pretty good, but you gotta swing the notes. With the A minor chord that you play while JBs talking... where you hammer the 0 to 2 on the guitar. It should be like doohdaht doohdaht doooo... rather than da da da da doo. Know what I'm sayin?

If the song is metered at about 80-84 1/4 notes per minute, then those 1st 4 notes are 16th notes and are not swung at all. The ones in my recording are a bit more staccato than the ones in Tenacious D recordings, but remember I'm playing a cheap electric piano, instead of a guiter, so getting the exact same articulation will be pretty much impossible, especially since those 4 notes on the guitar are played on 2 strings, and even on an accoustic piano, each of the 4 notes would sound separately.

I seriously sing better when I'm not playing a piano. And I play piano better when I'm not trying to sing. So when I try to do both at the same time, both suffer in quality. It's like my brain doesn't have the power to fully do both at once. But hey it's not bad.

Well, being the D fan that I am, I've listened to this song thousands of times. The stuff I

played was based on how my ears interpeted the song, and chords that I looked up.

I've had others request "sheet music" for it. The only "moving" parts on the piano are outlined in another one of my videos on here, "Intro to Tribute Sheet Music."

The rest of it is chords; do a Google search and you'll find it in no time.
