  • There is a driving school in Vegas, you pay to drive these cars for a few laps. He was probably showing the lady the coarse and then let her drive it. Obviously you can't teach the race, line when going flat out and also you don't want first time drivers to try to do that.

  • Yeah, but come on...I shift faster than that on my way to work. I kinda gotta agree. I understand taking it easy, but you actually put less stress on the clutch if you're shifting faster because you won't be holding in the pressure plate so long. The synchro's might be a different matter...lol.

  • the enzo,zonder,gallardo are all pussy cars that have been restricted so dives can drive them. cars like the ariel atom, 911 turbo and GT3 and the Koenigsegg CCX are proper racing cars that only proffesionals can drive and take to there limits. now they are proper cars

  • you're right except for the zonda and 911 turbo. the zonda is raw, and the turbo has a bunch of driver aids and 4wd to make it easy to drive.

    The CCX it's a fantastic car,ok,but it's a car maded for the professionist drivers,it's sure only if you can drive,the Enzo have more electronic,it's not soo safe too,but also a mortal can drive it.Hte Bugatti is not so hard to drive,ask to Gordon Murray...

  • anyone who says "aint" when talking about European sports cars probably isn't well versed on the subject. i will put money that a Ferrari Enzo is indeed not made of plastic and the only way Koenigsegg acquired the top gear record is by ADDING a real wing and Koenigsegg even said that it was upgraded in some way.

  • I would have to say the Zonda F is still nicer on the outside. This car has the most beautiful interior in the world on their website. As for the Ferrari comment- there are so many better made cars and the Enzo looks like a bad 80's concept.

  • CCX would rape any Ferrari on the track and in the straight line. It currently holds the Top Gear lap record and will only be beaten when they test the 1018bhp CCXR.

  • You are unbelievably stupid. The Enzo is a piece of italian crap which is probably made from plastic restored from kids toys. This car is a roadcar and not a trackcar, none of the three cars are good on the track, but the Enzo and the Veyron ain't adjustable...but the CCX is...And it also has the record on Top Gear and in the Guinness book of world records...

  • An Enzo and the Veyron can go faster than that thing...the CXX is slow in the corners, is very difficult do drive fast and can't beat and Enzo in straight lines.

    It's a cool car butt not 4 everyone. Very tricky car.

It will be a long time before any car can hit over 210 can easily be driven by normal motorist...then again, I wouldnt even say that...I would say..pfff 150 for most people...cuz most people cant drive. If your paying THIS much for a car, you BETTER be a good damn driver...I would still prefer a Zonda F :)

  • Yes,but if the CCX requires a skillful driver to be used at maximum the owners won't be able to control them at those speeds and hence won't even try.The real trick is to design a car that can be driven fast by mere mortals not Formula 1 drivers like Schumacher and Alonso.Some of you kids think its easy,well try and see how you'll end up.People who drive with their dicks instead of their brains should be banished.

  • It is a VERY VERY VERY difficult car to control at higher speeds. Everything about the handling is heavy. But it'll beat a McLaren F1 with no problem.

  • Although if setup differently, it could outhandle almost anything. In Clarsksons original review of the CC8S, he said it was very difficult to control, but if you find a video where he compares the CC8s to a Zonda S, the says that the Koenigsegg has changed and that now it just grips, just due to the suspension being setup differently.

  • Yeah, I heard that from Clarkson too. Supposedly you can adust anything in the car to your comfort. You just need a wrench and some knowledge of auto mechanics and you can make the car do whatever you want to. I read another report like that from Modified Exotics magazine, and they said that it was easy to drive too. Too bad I can't drive a stick without killing the clutch.

  • I suppose that its more of a car for people who know how to drive fast, whereas the idea behind an Enzo or Veyron is that anyone can get in and go very fast, the CCX needs a skilled hand to be driven fast.

    Makes it more fun IMO.
