Really one of my favourite Eurovision songs of all time - not necessarily because of the quality of the composition, but for its cheerfulness. I also love the fact that both composer, lyricist and conductor play a part in the 'play' which is performed.

And yes: please bring the orchestra back in 2010!

What concerns me are all the critical voices against the fact that many countries went softer with ballads as their entries. For the last 10 years almost everyone was so used to groove at the Eurovision as if it eas a club that now it schoks that the music went back to the old good days with down tempo numbers that are really good but not appreciate by Ani Lorak or Lordi or Russlana fans LOL

I have always loved this song :-)

The dancers are Søren Bundgård (who wrote the music), Kjeld Heick (who wrote the lyric), and Henrik Krogsgård (who was the conductor, as you saw) really funny for all us Danish people, but maybe not so much as the rest of Europe? ;-)

Well... I don't really know much about it, but it seems to me, that whenever Søren Bundgård wrote for the eurovision, he was trying to make people remember the danish song, when it was time to vote. There was this gimmick this year, and other gimmicks in 1988 and 1985. In 1984 there was one in the pre-selection, which they probably couldn't transfer to the international competition.
