If your talking about the this conference. The best way to describe it is a huge costume party with competitions and stands where you can buy anime stuff. You can buy costumes, wigs, stuffed anime characters. You just have to pay to get in. Usually no more that 40 per person. You can just show up and stand in line to pay your way in or you can buy them earlier. this is cheaper Their is no age limit. I've seen a video of a 2 year old naruto. Hope that helps.

GO! It's totally worth it. I have Prom on ACen and I'm still going. I decided that I'm going to both ACen and prom. XD

I would recommend staying there in the hotel, but the hotel rooms may be filled up now 8(

If you decide to sleep there...then go to Crown Plaza...much cheaper.

Okay, well it's this huge anime convention. (Stating the obvious wooh!) Some Japanese bands come and play songs there and there is a lot of merchandise that you can buy. (From what I heard.) I think there also is this talent show thing, but then again, I'm not really sure!

I know the line was so long I was there on Saturday too and we didn't register at all and we were like forget it and we just walked through the thing into the actual convention and no one asked us for ID membership or none of that crap XD SO we got in pretty much for free XDDD

Hey, if you register early and pay before September 30th, the badge only costs $35 for the whole weekend. Plus, you can have it mailed to you so you can skip the lines for $1.50.

It usually is, minus the fact that the staff run things badly from time to time. Also, it gets really crowded. Here in Chicago there's another con in November too, I think! :D

lol You cannot escape the yaoi and hentai fangirls/boys. That yaoi booth never used to be there until 2005 I think, now there are like 3 or so...
