wonderful, havent listened to this one for ages. back in 96, i bought it in a shop in vienna (dont remember its name) and was blown away - the only thing that came close back then was emperors "i. t. n. e", even satyricons "nemesis" was later (i believe). so: true pioneers!
As as underground early 90´s black metal supporter the best black metal opus were: MAYHEM- DeMysteriis..., Emperor-In the nightside, Rotting Christ- Thy Mighty Contract, Thou art lord- Diabolos Archaes Legenoes 7´´ep, Mystifier- Goetia, Kvist- For Kunsten maa...
if i were to die right now. id be fucking happy that that was my last song ever... Thank Black Dahlia Murder for posting this on their facebook. a gate way to a whole new realm of epicness
@hackalacka actually I think you can... well atleast I could a few months ago. It's been re-released somewhere around 2009 or something, check it out!
For bass in BM bands, check out BLACKWIND, Gorgoroth on the albums antichrist and pentagram.... Tons of good bass in bm, just have to know where to look :D and have good speakers.
@surrealsound You should check out Mactatus' first full length, "Blot". It sounds like Black Sabbath's bass player flew to Norway to session on a bm album, heh.
Great song
