  • I'm 13 I'm iv been waiting so long to go here I'm goin in the summer it will be fun

  • I love it here! I live in Canada, but my great grandma lives on 7 mile beach, so my family goes there once a year! But something horrible happened once while I was here. I...saw...my...teacher....halfway across the world...and worse, she was in a BIKINI!! I SAW MY TEACHER IN A BIKINI! DO U KNOW HOW SCARY THAT WAS?!

  • Ah i remember this trip some two years ago. THAT WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER, and the only time i was out of the country. ahhhhh memories... :D

  • i take it this beach is right beside where the side docks as I can see them in the background, o my its pure bliss :)

  • I go there and stay at Regal Beach next to the Marriott on Seven Mile Beach. The blue clear water. It's a beautiful place to visit. The people are really friendly, the food is excellent. Rum Point can't be beat or StingRay City was so much fun. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

  • Thanks for the video. I love Grand Cayman....

  • Did you go swimming?

  • why the hell are u just standing there ? if i were you i wouldve jumped into the water already !

  • We have traveled there twice ~ once aboard the Carnival Valor and once aboard the Grand Princess. We absolutely love the Caymans. Very relaxed, clean and Seven Mile Beach is spectacular. The kayaking and snorkeling are

    brilliant.

  • Can't wait to go in August I am going on the cranival valor!!!

  • @alis0n82 bet you cant wait what a perfect honeymoon you lucky bitch lol xx

  • i live in grand cayman the beach is always like this . i love it :]

  • im goin in a few weeks 4 10days and i cant wait.... Its gotta b better den da uk shitty beaches lmao

  • Guys Cayman is actually like this! So stop all the hate comments! I'm going there tomorrow! and i have actually been there! 8 times! i would know

  • @25sonicthehedgehog im going in 2 days! se ya there buddy!!!!!

    Yup it's like that... HATERS!

  • I am going to be moving there sone I am so happy

  • I'm going there soon! How is it?

  • I was there in 2008. It's the most beautiful beach I've ever seen.

  • i live there thumbs up if u a baya

  • such nice water

  • i went to and in that beach. my sister and i got a float. i fell on a chair wen we were waiting for food and i got a cut. but i didnt cry. i actually laughed. ahha

  • I love Cayman Islands. I was there and the beaches are amazing!

  • Is the water warm or cold?

  • wow the water is so clear and beautiful!

  • @stasisnu18

    yes, English

  • @nikitobu When I was there it was nice alone the whole beach

  • @Rach1966 Like i said its nice right at shore, to me it wasn't a big deal i live in miami and the beaches here are just as nice.

  • @nikitobu What do you expect?! xD its not like the government goes out and destroys an ecosystem of rocks and plants! hahhahah <3 your caps locks is ON BTW!

  • @wetwokfood I don't expect anything but just to let people know that on video it looks totally different than when you're there, i'll bet the goverment imported the sand, Cuba have been exporting sand to all over the world for the past 15 yrs. you want to see extraordinary beaches go to cuba you can walk 1/2 of mile out to the ocean and the water still be by your waist, super clear sand.

  • @nikitobu I live on Grand Cayman. I go to Cuba every single summer. Cuba is amazing in many ways but alot of the beaches in Cuba aren't replenished and gray. 7 mile beach Is definitely not replenished, Cayman doesn't have the money to keep replenishing their beaches like this. The only reason the area you swam was so bad is because that area is laced with Bleached coral and white band disease. Caymanians admit that a lot of their inshore areas are bleached because of the cruise ships.

  • @nikitobu Swim out another 200 feet and you'll find the reefs and dive sites that have been rated 10th in the world. Go to rum point and swim to the channel. you'll find another amazing reef filled with wrecks and fish. Cuba is amazing i know!!! but home is home right? :) gotta defend the shit out of it ;)

  • @wetwokfood im refering to sandy beaches.

  • @nikitobu So am I... Nice monosyllabic reply xD your first comment you talked about outside of the beach. A beach stops at the water...

  • @nikitobu I have been there twice and didn't see that. Maybe you went to the newly developed part of the island and not 7 mile beach. On the east side it is rocky and stuff but not at 7 mile beach

  • @nikitobu You prob went to the wrong side of the island dude, i live here and its paradise!

  • @selectadjvon No i was there right where they shot this video all im saying is that i was expecting more since its an island, to me its like miami beach nice but nothing extra ordinary.

  • @nikitobu biggest load of bollocks. haha its like this wherever you go, i hate seaweed i would have remembered it if there was any

  • @stingraycity222 Maybe if you had swam out like i did you would have noticed that the only nice part where the sand is white and soft is right there on shallow water.

  • this is the beach....so clear the water. so nice

  • lol cayman is a beautiful place ohkk but not a great place to live and work yeh cayman is like paradise

  • I'm going to be there in a few months!! :)

  • I'll be staying at Seven Mile Beach on Aug 7-14...looking forward to it!

  • Hey, I've stood exactly where you were haha

  • My fav color of blue! Love it!

  • the beachs on cozumel island are better.

  • in your dreams maybe...

  • @2015EVANGELION True

  • Yes i luv this place been there 3 times....going back in March

  • Is this what heaven looks like?

  • im going there soon. it looks so pretty!!!!

  • Me too :) one week whoo hoo

  • going there on honeymoon is this a relatively safe place to relax ?

  • yes, it's very safe

you can get around very easy on the public bus (which is actually a van)

ask the driver where is a good place to eat (ask about McDonalds, it's a side of the road shack that has excellent food, most get it as carry out, but they have picnic tables there)

also do the sting ray boat trip, it's great

  • @Rach1966 what is the main language there? English?

  • @stasisnu18 it's a british overseas territory

  • its all good, i live there and i think its amazing. You just have to remember to be street smart (like any place) and don't forget that although you're in paradise you still have to exercise common sense. Enjoy you're trip!

  • haha lauren :P that hotel is my crib!

  • does that mean we can come and stay for FREE?

  • hahaha uhmmmm no.

  • @chasecayman Can you accommodate me ? =D I promise, I'm not a pervert lol

  • i live where you vacation :)

  • @laurenhazlewood kinda hard not to rub it in LOL

  • wow, I see another free place to stay when I vacation

  • @laurenhazlewood hahahaha lauren i just found this vid and u commented on it xD its barwick btw hahahahah

  • @martiniforlunch92 ;] just thought i should rub it in evryones faces

  • @laurenhazlewood i do it alot too. dont worry.

  • @laurenhazlewood Hi. I'm looking for a new place to use as a home-base and due to my work I'm very flexible. Lived in Dom. Rep. And Asia. Is it expensive living in Cayman? I'm looking for an apt. to use as a 'base' I work abroad most of the time. Would be really grateful for any tips. Is there anywhere as much crime there as in Dom. Rep.? Is it safe for my girlfriend? That was the dealbreaker in Dom Rep my g-friend could barely leave the house

  • @laurenhazlewood i live here too, and i vacation in orlando :)

  • I went here on my freedom of the seas cruise ...out of this world

  • Me too:)

  • who has been to the Beach Club Colony?? it may look a bit run down but the rooms are great. its an amazing place i went there in April 2008 and loved it.

  • i was in 1992 and 1993... and it was GRRREAT... but i think it changed all a bit... more touristic and not so exclusiv then my times... beach club colony was nice.... all you need you get there... kitchen was great... it´s a small , tine island what you want more...??

  • i live there i am a caymanian i have live there every since i was born it it fun and water is amazing to swim in and it fun going on waverunners in the water its just amazing

  • Paradise.

  • Oh, I am moving there in six months!

  • SO PRETTY!!!

  • im going there in two days!! if u have anything to tell me about it! please do! =] thanks!!

  • go to a place called "McDonald" , it's a shed where they cook jerk chicken, most get it as carry out and take home

it's really good, the bus (van) driver told me about it and dropped me off there.

  • omg! i here ya, i luv they're bugers! :D

  • MY Island. Yeah im from the cayman islands! You should see it now the water is still that clear.

  • I'm going there in 19 days!! AHHHHHH!!!

  • I was just there like two day's ago. That is right by the Ritz very nice

  • can anyone tell me if there is Spring Break in Grand Cayman now?

    thanks

  • i stayed at the plantana and it was the greatest trip i have ever bin to

  • I own a house at Governors Harbour, about 1/4 of a mile walk from 7 mile. A well built house with about 3-4 bedrooms, depending on area can cost you about 600k to 3 million.

Love it down there, I spend about 4-5 months out of the year there! Beats NY Winter's!

  • does this mean your offering your house for me to stay in?

  • holy shit

  • I live down the road from 7 mile beach, in govenors harbour. ever heard of that? anyone that lived or lives there. sadly we are moving next year from after living there for 9 1/2 years! after moving from england

  • AWW I MISS CAYMAN SO MUCH! WE STAYED AT 7 MILE BEACH IN 2004!!!! omg good times. we went there 4 times before. each for 2 weeks I think. best days of my life! and we're goin back next year!

  • I am going there this January. I was wondering if the ocean water is fairly warm? i would guess that it is, being that close the equator.

  • This video looks like it was taken not far from "SeaScape Villas". My mother and father built that place in the 1970's and I lived there for 4 years. We don't own it anymore.

  • ive been to 7 mile ...and walked by that white house and everything ...its sooo nice there...i wanna go backsoo bad

  • I've lived here four years, this is now "home" the people are amazingly friendly. You have to see it first hand to understand. Nobody blows the horn, people stop and let you cross, everybody waves and says hello. Tropical yes, but what makes Cayman is the people... getting directions or advise and meeting new people is not only easy, it is pleasant.

  • One of the best days of my life! I dream every day of going back. I want to cry right now!

  • I really enjoyed the Cayman Islands myself, hope to get back there some day

  • i went there for 2 months. Going back to Miami was one of the hardest thing. I LOVED IT SO MUCH THERE. I miss it all the time. I did go to East End and spent the whole day over there. I was staying in West Bay. Yeah it is paradise!

  • I was only there 5 nights and I hated going home also (but it was winter time at home and nice weather in the Caymans)

  • I've been living in Cayman my whole life!

It is very beautiful and fun. Theres lots of things to do. PLEASE VISIT. IT TRULY IS PARADISE. A TRIP YOU WONT REGRET.

  • My inlaws live there. Most beautiful place I've ever been to (and the people there are amazing!)! It truely is paradise.

  • so, you have family there

does that mean I get a free place to stay on my next trip?

  • I lived in Cayman for 6 years, used to go spear fishing every weekend with my son's father and it was the most wonderful years of my live, I miss it every day and wish I could be there right now. Cayman is better than paradise and maybe one day I'll be back!

  • your son's father? =')

  • love the carib, paradise does exist

  • i live there and that was next to the hyatt am i right??? - also i dont know if you guys got to check out east end, but the main attaction over there are the pirate caves, you must vissit.

  • only went East as far as the public transport (the vans) would go and turned around and came back

so, did not visit the pirate caves (we didn't have a car when there)

  • Been here 6 times

  • only once for me, places to stay are way too expensive

  • sweet!
