No, I don't own a clapper control. I buy only the necessary stuff and, unlike most Americans, I never go into debt. I don't own a credit card (I don't need one) and I actually save more than a half of what I earn and still live a fulfilling life. Seriously, I don't understand what's your beef. I'll tell you my beef. Initially all I did was defend myself as an American in that I don't fit the stereotype. I feel it is important that I at least speak out among such things. You respomded to me with a personal attack and so I responded in kind. Also, like you, I never go into debt, own a credit card and I live only within my means.

The comedy wasn't offensive. I was simply defending against your comment regarding stereotypical Americans. as you may defend yourself if someone makes a poor comment about your people. You may be proud of culture and love your people and if someone says something to put them down I would hope that you would stand up and say that it's not right and that you yourself are a better person than that.
