Yes, it's wrong to group everyone together and assume that every last individual German was evil. But just because a person is capable of laughing and goofing off with their friends and posing for gag photos doesn't automatically make them a good person. I'm sure there are plenty of very bad people in these photos just as there are plenty of perfectly good people. It's just important that no one gets the false impression that if someone has a sense of humor they must by default be good.

There were no German "death camps" but hypothetically had one of the dissident camps gone rogue the German people would have been clueless the same as how the American people were clueless about atomic bombs. No documented evidence exists to conclude that the Germans ever gassed even one person at any of those camps during WW2.

Nazism and Comunism are both at least equally evil (Comunism in the long run might have been worse but that's a topic for a whole different discussion). I truly believe that noone should ever blame people trapped in these systems imposed on them. Also we should never forget those in the enslaved nations who fought and gave their lives to free themselves and others from the system. We should all remember those heroes both known and unknown.

Communism in long run migth be worse? It was in long run 30 to 50 milion people died in years of Stalin that doesnt inclued the victims of Red Terror of Lenine and the post stalin soviet leaders

I know I just wanted to avoid the definite comparison to get the leftists off my back but since you already done it. Yes it was wayt worse than Nazizm and the ironyis that shit is still legal. I myself am from a country which both was hit really hard by Nazism during WW2 and by 45 years of Communism afterwards. And I must say that if I had to choose from 2 evils I'd rather have 45 years of Nazism.

Well to be honest even though I'm Polish and let's face it Poland got hit pretty hard in the war, I do not hate Germans and I don't see a reason why anyone should. The system was wrong and the system itself and those who came up with it were evil, not the people trapped in it. Saying that all the people were evil is basically like saying Russians are evil because they had about 76 years of comunism or that Poles are evil because they had 45 years of comunism. And this is plain wrong.

You are so right, I think people got so cought up in the de humanization of the enemy that they completely forgot how much they were just like our own boys fighting in the war. Most of the German Soldiers and officers Were just fighting for the pride of Germany, like Rommel.

i agree it is pretty annoying how some people are ignorant and always view German people as monsters, I am very sure that other countries were also horrible things as well, Countries other than Germany did treat Jews horribly also, so take into consideration that no country was its perfect in that time.

I totally agree- The Germans in WWII whether it be the Luftwaffe, Wehrmacht, Afrikakorps, Kriegs Marine or The children of the Hitler Youth.. They was all satanic demons who wanted only to bring destruction to the world.
They had no souls and wasn't even human and had demon spawn babies from their rape victims.

Try typing "Nazi executions" into Google image search. You'll find some real cute stuff.
Those Germans and their cameras, huh? They'll photograph anything.
No, they weren't "monsters". But let's neither of us make generalizations. I won't call them monsters, and you can stop pretending that they did nothing wrong.
They did start the war. They did vote the Nazis into power, and they did know that the Nazi party was virulently anti-Semitic. They were not innocent.

why yes, I DO hate the third Reich. Or rather, it's leaders: Hitler, Goebbels, Himmler, etc.
There really should have been a successful Worker's Revolution in Germany before the Nazi Party took power.

True that many, many german soldiers and nazis didn't exactly know what was going on, and many who were given the task to execute innocent civillians just would not go through with it. But still, there were hundreds of thousands of people who were involved in the Holocaust and the Einsatzgruppen. I mean they didn't just kill all those Jews, but also many slavics, anti-facists, POWs, etc.
Sure, some of them were human, and some of them were monsters.
