It wasn't that bad in my opinion. I got hooked in and watched the whole thing to see what happened and thats what a movie is meant to do. The zombie make up and effects were quite good as well. I enjoyed it.

We used a 30-30 for most of the movie, but used a 12 gauge for that one shot to blow the head off the dummy. The 30-30 would have just punched a hole through the fake head... we wanted to totally destroy it, and as you saw, 12 gauge shotgun>Styrofoam head.

I like the ideas you guys created but some of it seem really pointless. The kid running with a pipe bomb to "distract" the zombies seemed unnecessary since it had no affect. The guy with a gun aiming (not shooting) then running away another pointless action to do. Either shoot or run no time for other choices in this case scenario. BUT overall creative I did enjoy parts of it and the concept. Another BUT, I advise you to replace the guy carrying the rifle, sorry kid, you can't act.

pretty good for a home-made movie, the only thing that I don't like is that most of the time you guys film it in daytime, I know the light will not agree with filming at night time, but zombie movies are much better at night.

Fun to watch. Nice little production and better than many more commercialized theatrical/DVD releases.

One question though, on 7:00 to 7:10, is there supposed to be heavy traffic way down at the end of the street, during the middle of this Zombi outbreak?

In that same shot on the left hand side of the street you'll see a girl power walking like every thing is normal, then you see the zombie walk into frame. The idea was wherever this outbreak came from, it wasn't widespread yet, but their hometown would be toast by the time they got there. I was trying to suggest they were driving headlong into the start of an even bigger nightmare than the one they just left.

That makes sense. I am always partial to "first night" Zombi type movies. That point where people are still asking Barbara's (NOTLD) question, "What's Happening Here?"

Actually, I am not so much a Zombi Movie fan, than a Dystopian, Last Man on Earth, and Collapse of society movie fan. I just find the concept of how people would react to something so impossible (or is it?) very intriguing.

Second: How exactly does a zombie fire bomb a car?

Third: dude builds the bomb as the great distraction, runs past the horde, sets the bomb and blows up one zombie and then he runs back.

Fourth: When the friend comes back to life he decides to play hide and seek instead of attacking the guy that was two feet in front of him?

I think they used swine intestine and similar, with some blueberry juice.

Many horror movies effects are based on that things.

Not expensive, and with a very good result ;-)

For the record, the intestines were made out of condoms stuffed with cotton balls, glued together and painted red. The blood was good old corn syrup with some hamburger mixed in.
