I was going to try and get this. But I am more of a fan of looks over power. And the spear looks stupid for the best weapon (( I think )) in game. Hardly seems worth all the hours of trying to get it.

what about if you try to get the zodiac spear in Necrohol Nabudis?? I've heard that there's a zodiac spear there too.. Does someone knows how to get it there?? Can you please teach me?

@silverchime01 yes there is a spear there too, which is 100% to get. Necrohol of nabudis is west of Salika Wood.

RNG = Random Number Generator. i think you have to get a 5 hit combo on your self to get 100% rare loot chest items, takes a hell of a lot of time though, and if you hit again after the 5 you have to start over again. has not worked yet for me but for others i know it has, good luck.

It is to get as a great save as possible.

However this video is very old and there is an RNG trick to get the Zodiac Spear at 100% insteed of 1/1,000 now days.

So I have 99 Zodiac Spears now ^_^

Actually, the chances of the chest appear are 10%, and the chances of the Spear come out of it are 1%, so the chances of getting the spear are 1 in 1.000. U will have to try at least 1000 times the same thing, and then MAYBE the spear will come to your inventory.. :3

I got it, I finally got my Zodiac Spear in Henne Mines!!!

After 3 days playing 14 hours in total, the spear came out (around 450 tries). And I must say I thought it'd be harder since it took me 2 days to get all the loots for Tournesol, so after all I don't think it's hard at all to get this Zodiac Spear (although I was lucky since the average time is 25 hours).

Ofcourse this wouldnt've been possible without flak76e's help, thanks for your wonderful videos and for answering my questions!!

It's actually .1% chance. So while it's pretty horrific, it's not as bad as you think, 1/1,000 not 1/10,000. Although everytime I think of doing it this way I keep coming up with the idea that it'd just be easier to restart *sigh*

DUDE i'm so stuffed!! U know the dustia trick?? WEll i did that trick for like until lv74, but... THE FRIGGIN GUIDE TELLS ME THAT ONE OF THE FORBBIDDEN CHESTS IS THE ONE IN FRONT OF OLD DALAN!! Now i don't remember if i got that chest or not but when i went back to check there was no chest... I AM SO FRUSTRATED!! So I say to myself, i can get the zodiac spear later, but when i check up on this vid... What should i do?? Start the dustia chain again?? or just go with the hemne mines... help...

I recomend to start over with Dustia again, because farming Zodiac Spears is a pain in the ass. If you choose to start over maybe it is enough to only level up Vaan to 40-50 or something?
