No seriously, did you change the clutch for a bigger one? Who cares the top speed if it takes you 3 minutes to go up there. It's like trying to start in 5th gear on a manual car... hup it goes fast (after a LONG while) but the accelaration is pretty shitty
The fastest this sled ever ran was on asphalt which was 168 mph in 1/4 mile. Its best asphalt et was 7.895. The fastest on the ice was 4.66 @ 148mph in 660ft. To build one of these machines will cost around $ 40,000
