beautiful video! i still dont understand why e.on had to knock this down, it is as if they would do anything to stop art. why couldnt they just sell the towers if they were so worried about being liable for them? being an architecture student, i am aware of the immense possibilities they would have had. So so so f*cked off they're demolishing the cooling towers. I, like many other sheffielders, grew up with the towers. I know they're not the most attaractive structures, but they're part of our history and they mean home for so many people. I'll be very sad to see them go.
That was brilliant. I'm all up for supporting them now. Before I didn't mind whether they went or not but I can clearly see they provide many possibilities.

i do miss them very much, and yes they were a big part of sheffields history, but we need to move on and look into the future.

Such a shame they had to be demolished. They were iconic and so bold on the skyline. They truly were beautiful in their simplicity. Oh well...
