Actually, have done experiments in the Vertical Motion Simulator (VMS) at NASA Ames (shuttle landing sim)- when I get round to it I'll post that video (have to check the pilot is OK with it).
you are only seeing the 1.5 deg glideslope after preflare. Prior to preflare the glideslope was 12 degress, 4 times that of a normal approach and a bit over half of the shuttle's 18 degree glideslope.
uh huh...anybody who thinks flyin the box is fun...go through 121 airline training...youll see how "fun" it is. you wanna die after 8 days.

The flight control computer appeared to make the most appropriate comment about the occupants of the cockpit - "retard, retard".

This is a freekin Airbus not a space shuttle!
falcon790 3 years ago
That was mentioned in the description if you would have bother to read it. They are trying to land an Airbus like the shuttle.

Watch more news.

Hey looks like a normal shuttle landing to me. If a shuttle pilot had to try to land a normal plane, hed probably fall asleep (or do it in his sleep)
Zoomer30 4 years ago
if that would be real, he probably wouldn't have the chance anymore to put it on the internet... ^^

According to the sim computer, 29 people died and we lost the left wing....

Doesn't look like the Shuttle glass cockpit - old or new version...

This is an Airbus cockpit
Alvais1985 4 years ago
Figures. Also I would suppose that the Shuttle simulator wouldn't be accessible to any old joker who wanted to make a funny video...

A340-600 at airbus training center in toulouse - we developed the equipment here (eye , head and cabin tracker) before going to the VMS.

if you call that a steep descend, you should learn a bit about aviation..
Fr33dom34 5 years ago

ssm98 5 years ago
well.. as the title says its a steep descent, I am correcting you. it's not. I guess you can admit it..
shuttle fly like a brick, you cannot reproduce that with an airbus, lol
Fr33dom34 5 years ago
12 deg is steep for an airbus - what do you want - an apology????
ssm98 4 years ago
i dont expect an apology for a no-education no-respect no-money no-future kid like you
Fr33dom34 4 years ago
