I think alot of people don't understand what respect the people have for the bull. I myself don't neccesarily like the killing of the bull, but if you want to look at it in a different perspective, you should read The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. It's truly beautiful.
@ThreeEscapeas Yeah I agree, they respect bulls totally...I mean I love putting my cat in the arena and spearing her till she collapses...oh not to mention we put her in this dark room for long period of time to weaken her eyesight, we force her to run and move and tire her out as much as possible...oh and if anything happens to me, I get helped right away you know...I am the Matador...You do realise they do this to bulls, oh and there is much more! Really charming "sport", more like a bloodbath

@ThreeEscapeas It isn't simple "killing" - this is a systematic way of tormenting an animal and weakening its senses, causing injury after injury all for the sake of entertainment and "glory" - it is cowardice and rigged to make sure the Matador has the advantage...and they always do...yes it is still dangerous because Bulls are fucking amazing animals, with horns! But the way the "fight" is set up...says unfair, unecessary, stupid and disgusting way to show your "respect" to an animal...

@ThreeEscapeas Nope I understand fine, I understand that you don't understand that this practice is predominatley unecessary tormenting of animals that are by nature never so aggressive unless threatened (territory or individual security) - The same argument you apply has been used for many old traditions, cultures have their good and bad - no shit sherlock. But we don't have gladiators for a reason - its brutal and disgusting, just like bullfighting,its masked to appear honourable and wonderful

More than 12.000 bulls are killed each year in Spain and the torture must be ended. Boycott Spanish products till something changes!
