  • OMG why does this video have so many dislikes? I've been to Vilnius an year ago and I really loved that city, there are lots of beautiful sights to visit! And Lithuanian people were very polite and affable. I recommend for everyone to visit Vilnius, you will never regret!

    P.S. As myliu Lietuva!!!

  • @ministr2302 Labai ačiū :)

  • I WAS in Vilnius during Eurobasket 2011 and I must say that is awesome city with rich history! I promised my self that I will be back there! Regards from MACEDONIA! LOVE YOU LIETUVA! :)

  • @vojomak I'm glad you have enjoyed it here, Vojomak! ;) Best regards to Macedonia!

  • What a beautiful country.

  • I was there a few months go and I love this city. I have to go there at least once agin! Vilnius is amazing!

  • is that true... that.. people in Lithuania .. hate .. Poles so much....? I don't think so.. it may be just some Polish media.. creating problem which doesn't exist... ... and our ministry R Sikorski.. I want to know.. opinions of.. real lithuanian people..

  • @TequilAndLime no no, this is not true. There are only small groups of people in both countries,i guess, that are trying to create aggression between our countries. I would like to see us working together and not blame shifting each other. Peace out bro ;)

  • @makasiukas That's what I was thinking... the worse is a fact that our .. ministry Sikorski joined this small group . Peace...

  • @TequilAndLime

Try leaving a car with polish licence plates in Vilnius and you'll see how much Lithuanians love Poles :P My friend did so and it didn't work out well for his car :] My other friend who's part Lithuanian tired to do the same but his family persuaded him to not do it, and he put his car in their garage :]

  • @PanUlan ...... I used to the same to german cars when I was a child... :P..

  • @PanUlan so maybe they are on the same stage of evolution like we dacades ago... nobody does anymore for a long time

  • @TequilAndLime

Seriously? Why would you destroy someone's car? :/

I know from experience, that most Lithuanians in bigger cities are very rude to Poles, e.g. in hotels, restaurants, shops, but I've never met more hospitable and nice people than Lithuanians living in the countryside :] Once my uncle was stopped by Lithuanian police in some village, as it turned out, they just wanted to say 'hello' :D

  • @PanUlan honestly I excperienced a lot of shit... from lithuanians when I was there...... but You know what I'm trying to uderstand it... that's all ..... I don't have any bad feelings .... and welll I used to scratch german cars... whan I was a child... that's all

  • @TequilAndLime

I guess there're always people who have to be angry about sth/s1 :(

  • @PanUlan we had with group polish students from western side of poland new year party in vilnius what can i say very kind and friendly people, also i have friend from that called polish minority in lithuanian i dont know or they just saying that to me because im lithuanian but they dont feel any discrimination or problems, i dont know who is intrested in this two neighbour nation hate?but what can i say lithuanians is only 3 millions its natural what we trying to protect our self from any influen

  • Very beautiful! I've been to Tallinn, Amsterdam, and Praque before - similar architecture styles. Long long time ago I've been to Lithuania (Klaipeda) and Latvia (Riga), but I was a kid and I don't remember much except for the beautiful beach with waves in Klaipeda.

  • Been there many times. What a wonderful place.

  • chicago loves lithuania ;D

  • Viespatie, Tu leidai musu tautai paaukoti daug auku, bet Tu pazadinai joje ir kankiniu dvasia. Tu vienas, Viespatie, zinai, kad daug musu tautieciu mire del Tavo vardo ir tautos laisves. • you have such a beautiful country and yet you give us such crap food, those tasteless, enormous, plastic sausages. Give me a Lincolnshire sausage anyday!

  • Vilnius is very gay-friendly!

Pielęgnując pamięć o naszych walecznych przodkach i wyciągając błędy z przeszłości, musimy dbać o rozwój Polski dzisiaj w oparciu o te zasoby, które mamy.

  • [translation for non-Polish speakers]

@Phlogic And why are you submitting such text man? A German person could write just the same about Wrocław. What's the point in scratching old wounds.

While commemorating our brave ancestors and learning lessons from the mistakes done in the past, we must care for Poland's development today on the basis of these resources, which we have.

  • @Phlogic

Polish people got our city buy betraying us, it never was a polish city.

Vilnius was Lithuanian city and always will be!

  • 109 dislikes!!!What for?It's a great video, great pictures and music.

  • @Restitutek Or that ur dad Was stalin

  • @Laurama1236

Really, whats your opinion about Stalin`s actions: regiving Wilno and Memel to Lithuania?

  • what is the name of this song?

    kokia cia daina?

  • what is the name of song?

  • I really love this city i'll be there this year , i mean i hope :'(

  • Geras nuotraukai! Geras muzika!

i wonder how many Lithuanians can read that line?

  • @katarek65 I can, without any difficulties :) Lithuania, my homeland, you're like health.

  • @katarek65 I'm sure more than half of Lithuania population ;D

It's a famous line, so even Lithuanians who don't speak Polish usually knows it :)

  • @katarek65 Not the young ones obviously.

  • @katarek65 I can't. Had to use a translator.

  • @katarek65 probly 1 out of 100k

  • Comment removed

  • @katarek65 probably 6% of the population, but even the poles are abandoning Polish for the Lithuanian language

  • Really nice video! Thanks for posting it.

  • I live in Vilnius and I can say polish people are not better then russians they look even thesame like russians... they don't want to learn lithuanian language,,,and behave like fucking slavs...and makeing lithuania look bad in eu

  • @verdefull Don't be stupid.

All polish people living in Lithuania can speak Lithuanian. Sometimes even better than pure Lithuanians.

I'm half Polish half Lithuanian and I know what I say. Most of my friends are Poles living here. I have friends who go on Lithuanian language olimpiada every year and win first, second places, while pure Lithuanians win 5-6 and etc.

    So don't talk shit.

It's not the Poles or Russians who make Lithuania look bad in Eu, but ppl like you! The stupid racists.

  • missing only the white and red flags

  • Suck my dick, you motherfucker polish bitch.

  • @MrJacoslask if you say that Vilnius is polish city , than that means that poland belongs to Lithuania because a Lithuanian king ruled poland (why ur so jealuos OMG, grow up you faggot, because of people like you the world is retarded)

  • Ko jus angliskai rasot?

  • taj isieitu kad lyzintu anglams kad angliskai rasio :D

  • I'm a Lithuanian, and I hate all those people in this country who are blaming other countries even though they don't know what the fuck happened and why.

We got free from Communism. Today they are still blaming Russians. This makes no sense rly

  • @Convict147

I blame Russian empire and Slav-Chauvinists who are supporting terrorism and occupations. What do you blame I don't care. You can forgive everything and be raped ant happy forever and ever.

  • @EUcitizenLT I AGREE WITH YOU.........

  • @Convict147 I totally agree with you. Well said!

  • The city looks beautiful. But how come there never seem to be very many people in it?

  • Regis respect to you, that you love our capital, i live here too, and i can say its quety beatifull city, and yea.. poland people stinks, POLSKA SUKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Because of Hetalia Axis Powers, I started to like Toris, the representant of Lithuania. I started to inform myself about this country and I fell in love with the pictures of Vilnius, and strangely, even the language. No matter what I wanna visit this city one day... And maybe, live there if the buildings are as beautiful than the pictures? =)

  • @tehachi Oh! Hetalia fan! <3

Sincerely, because of Hetalia I also started to like many countries I previously never payed attention to!

    Hetalia is the best ;D

I'm happy you like our small Lithuania. <3

I can say that out country is even more beautiful than in pictures. ^_^

And it's perfect please to relax and slow down.

Hope you won't lose your interest in it and come here someday!. ^_^

  • Fucking Poland ;DD

    I love Lithuania ;p

  • @753arthur If you are russian agent or stupid suicide you will be speaking "fucking poland"

  • gdy KORONA w ogniu staje podnosi się LITWA

kiedy LITWA żarem płonie, ostrogami dzwoni,

ORZEŁ skrzydła rozpościera nad znakiem POGONI

JAZDA POLSKA I LITEWSKA ZMIECIE PLEMIĘ DIABLE

Those are the words in KOlakowski's song Those words say that when the Lithuania was attack by Moscow, polish soldiers go to help YOU and when the Poland was attack, lithuanian soldiers go to help!!!

  • whel as long as everyone respects everyone its ok for me :] but i hate people who live here and do shit , like russians who stil think its soviet union so they talk russian and akt russian and think everyone should do what they do ,or polacs who think vilnius belongs to polish people and everyone should talk polish or just to cut it short people who disrespect the country they live in and the sociaty, i hate them this is Lithuania and we speek lithuanian here so lets be friendly and respect all

  • @Guitarnoob99 you respect history all history when polish and lithuanian people were brathers and were doing everything for one polish and lithuanian commonwelth

  • In our polish literature you don't have about bad or stupid lithuanian people - you have only good and brave lithuanian people in our polish literature. It's because polack's like Lithuania and people in this country !

  • @somethingvs THAT IS NICE, BUT VILNIUS NAŠA..... NE VAŠA :DDDDD

  • @somethingvs Yep, they should. Sadly they don't...

  • Polack pidarast!

  • @somethingvs Enjoy your Lithuanian Monarchs , Poland. You can be a vassal , but try not to over-extend yourself.

No i szacunek do innych bliskich nam sąsiadów!

  • Dlaczego takie emocje?

  • I am so grateful to see this video on You Tube - home of my ancestors, Lithuania!

  • I dont care what think about vilnius stupid poland nationalist, Vilnius is nice Lithuanian city

  • shut the fuck up you stupid dirty polak! i hate you polaks!

  • Vilnius is a capital of Lithuania, not a Polish city :D

  • I have made many friends from Vilnius while working with them in the USA during summer. I keep in touch with many of them and one sent a link to this video. It's nice to see some of their city. I only wish that I could see this beautiful city myself!

  • Dekuj uz grazius zodzius ;) Ikvepia

  • From one side Soviets, from another, Germans.

  • Vilnius was occupied by Poland only for 20 years and because of that u say it is polish city.. wtf..?? Officialy Vilnius is capital of Lithuania from 1323 years. And it was built by Lithuanians by Gediminas order. So stop saying stupid things wile u didnt learned anything about it.

  • Somehow this pride of yours goes to the opposite direction don't u think.

  • little that you know Balt means White in the Balt languages.

  • hey u stupid polish pride first return to the germans their lands.Aryans don't fight each other so you're something else SCUM.

  • is lithuania a cute country? does it has big buildings like new york?

  • Yeah, we do have few bigger buildings: take a look at 2:34-2:37.

  • Jesus, you're so pathetic. Live peacefully in your small imaginary world, where rainbow colored unicorns drinks hot chocolate from the river, pink fairies flies over the sky and where Vilnius belongs to Poland. You can have any dream you want to, but no one else cares.

  • xDDDD

  • Kokia daina groja fone? :)

  • My Loveley Kaunas :) vilnius well mabe

  • Anyway, Lithuania would be Poland now, just a name of a region would have remained instead of our culture and nation, if all Lithuanians would have agreed on that like Baranowski, Pilsudski, Narutowicz (whose brother stayed Lithuanian till his dead). Poland made a plot against the Republic of Lithuania between the wars. Greedy bastards. Bye. I won't care anymore of what you post.

  • Lithuanians did not agree to fight against Poland together with Nazis. They rejected this suggestion.

  • Listen, you don't tell us anymore. Not now at least. Wait for better times for your greater Poland. Poles atre 40 millions, Lithuahians are 3 millions, Wilno nasze abnd other crap. Poles wanted to take the whole Lithuania, just like Russians wanted to take the whole Lithuania. Some Lithuanians fought to have their country with their language finallty respected in it. Poles also made allianses against with Nazis against Lithuania because Lithuania did not recognize Vilnius to Poland till 1938.

  • Many Polonized Lithuanians decided hey were Poles because it was cooler and easier to be Pole by then. Poles did not develop Vilnius much in 20 c. Vilnius was the greatest city in the territory of the Baltic Lithuanian tribes, while it was one of the non important corners of Poland in 20 c. So piss off. It is our only nice city. Poles will NEVER take it anymore. Russians destroyed Koenigsberg, btw. If they wouldn't have done that, Poles or Germans would not suggest it to LT now, you know. :D

  • Vilnius belongs to Lithuania much more than Koenigsberg, because Koenigsberg was built by Germans on the Baltic Preussish soils. Lithuanians came to it later, but it never belonged to Lithuania as a country. Vilnius was Lithuanian from the very start. It's noble inhabitants started to speak Polish and were in good relations with Poles and Poland, but you can't say they were not local people, Lithuanians. Lithuanians didn't always live only around Seinai, Sejny, but also around Vilnius.

  • Like Austrians speak German, but they are not German, Irish speak English, but they aren't English, many Belarussians speak Russian in Minsk, Blearussian in their villages only, but they are not Russians, so Lithuanians spoke Polish in Vilnius, but they were not Poles. There was no Poland here, just some Poland's Christian culture. Not all Lithuanians are Pagans who say that Vilnius has to belong to Lithuania. Many Lithuanian-speaking peasants lived around Vilnius, became city-dwellers later

  • Why should we piss off? Btw. half and two-thirds of Poles still personally think its theres and they have a right to do so. I think you should learn from Ukrainian leader Petlura who accepted Polish control over Wolyn/Galicia and League of Nations also supported PL on that too. Petlura made alliance with PL against Soviets. Bandera on the other hand killed 200,000 Poles including some of my cousins and made alliances with Germans kind of like Lithuanian Security Service.

  • However, Lithuania chose Poland as its best ally in many occasions of its history. That's true. And Poland had been a good ally in many occasions, because Lithuanians became more like Poles than like Russians and many Lithuanians even spoke Polish better than Lithuanian afterwards.

  • Vilnius was mostly Polish and Jewish before WW2 and had been for centuries. Its like Wroclaw which was Czech and Polish first and then Germans settled and became majority and built most of it. Thats how it was with Vilnius. Lithuanian founded but largely Polish developed. I personally think Lithuania should have Kaliningrad region instead. I think Suwalki could be Lithuania if Vilnius became Polish.

  • Viklnius belonged to Lithuania, then the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, then it's people Polonized themselves, then it belonged to Russia together with whole Lithuania, then Poland took it to themselves as a Polish-speaking, Polonized city.
