The irish are hardly stupid. Yeah, tere is cheating in every game but the scale of this match was way biger tha any other match. Its the world cup and even if we arnt the best team, we deserve our place there and there wont be a replay because fifa always wanted them in to the world cup and when they did they were glad. No matter how hard we would have protested, there wouldnt of been a replay!!

if they allow a re-match, then everyone will be hiring lawyers to have rematches left and right ---- if you have instant replays, it will take the flow out of the game --- there are , i think, very few solutions to this kind of problem but I think if they put 2 more officials, 1 at each end next to the goals (the most important place to call a foul) it would probably work ---- think about it FIFA ... also, a computerized goal detector so all goal/nogoal debates would end

What pisses me off the most is how FIFA is taking this. Maybe I'm mistaken but I haven't heard of any significant action they have taken to punish this or prevent this from happening again.
If it were up to me I would change the rules and make them have some sort of rematch, have a replay system integrated to football to go over questionable calls like they have in other sports. Or the very least suspend cheating cunt Henry from the World Cup.

Henry did nothing wrong. He had every right to play on & Gallas had every right to score. This has nothing to do with Henry, it's all down to the officials. The ref & asst ref, for whatever reason, didn't see the handball and therefore play continued.
I can't believe people hate Henry so much over this. I mean, let's be honest. Who wanted to see ROl at the World Cup? France create exciting matches whereas ROI finish 3rd or 4th in the Group Stage & fail epically on the biggest stage.
