I appreciate the true words of Ahmad Faraz. as you know the Napak army r killing innocent pukhtoons without any reason. These basters r taking 80 percent of our total budget and till now thy r loser and bagoras like perveez musharaf mother fucker and the killer of innocent pukhtoons. The 1965 war was won by Pakistani awam (nation) not pak army.
my bloody balls to ahmed faraz i consisdered this ass hole as a good poet. ididnt know that he has opened his ass for army. it is good that this son of a buitch has died and every fuckn joke is related to him he deserves this. rascal.
this poem is a fact..it is not against panjabis..pak army is a group which has nothing to do with race for example pervaiz musharraf was a mohajir but he was in air when his soldiers tookover for him,,,mostly panjabis...
i want to ask a question to army lovers...which fight our army has won since independence???they hardly survivie in 1965,,lost badly in 1971...lost siachan....1971 defeat was alone a bigest blunder ..still they tookover in 1977..
@calmguy1 65 was a victory as all missions of indian army failed and pak forces went up to 200 miles insinde the indian teritory, infact pak forces also won the largest battle ever fought after WW2 and saved the cities of sialkot and Lahore so it was a complete victory. Cease fire was agreed due to the joint pressure of bhutto and mujibur rehman. You can find this fact in Ayub Khans book 'friends not masters'
@calmguy1 for 71 you would find that there were only 90 000 soldiers in east pakistan fighting against an indian army of 1 million and mukti bahini which consisted of 0.25 million in the circumstances where the local population of 40million too went hostile. still they fought bravely untill YAHYA KHAN (THE MOTHER FUCKER CORRUPT) surrendered. And Siachen you can see it yourself the result when Nawaz sharif ordered withdrawal not any army general and the reaction from army was the martial law move
@calmguy1 my dear ap baten tu bari bari likhtay ho. patwari say lay kar meter redear aur doodh walay tak ko tum theek nahi kar saktay zati haseet ma. army nay tumari ma aur behan ke sAR KE CHADAR KO AB TAK BACHAYA HA AUR GALAT KIA HA. YA BAGARAT LOG ISS KABAL NAHI HA JO HER JAGA SAY GAND MARWA KAR ARMY KAY BARAY COMMENTS PASS KARTAY HA. TUMARAY TU USER NAME MA BE GAY LIKHA HUWA HA.

@calmguy1 Corp Commander V Corp (Karachi) General Muzaffar Usmani who took over Jinnah International Airport and assured safe landing of Musharraf's aircraft in 1999 is an Urdu speaking (jisko ko app jaise racisists mohajir kehte hain). Pak Army won the war of 65. It surrendered in 71 but i think you don't know under which circumstances it surrendered.

Siachen is mostly with india but you know that they occupied Siachen in the same way as tried Musharraf took over Kargil. The difference (contd.)
@calmguy1 The difference is that their government fully supported its Army and in case of Pakistan, our politicians and our people say that Kargil was a crime!!! When people consider occupying enemy's terrority as a crime then i am sorry to say we are not at all in a position to blame our army and those sacrificed their lives for us and in return we ABUSE their families. If you have facts then i am ready for a sensible and factual debate.
Ahmed Fraz written this poem on Marshell Law verus Democrasy why fool persons taking wrong meaning. We are not punjabi, sendhi, balochi, patan stop this hell of difference we are only muslims
Salute to Brave Pak army, who are fighting against criminals and feel sorry for the sick minded people who supports them who are killing the innocent people of this country, stop this sindhi balochi stuff and be Pakistani first.
he said all about the reality......solute to Ahmed faraz...........army ap k aagy shrminda h.........laken is m qsoor hukmran ka hota hai sipahiun ka nhi.......is k bawjood phr b army ap k aagy shrminda hai......Allah apko jannat m aala muqam dy.....AAMEEEEEN
"All that he said is truth..." How? And on what authority do I know it is? (or for this matter, you?) My position on this is very clear: To hurl a blame and not support it by any proof is shameful. It cuts through the very heart of 'freedom of speech' and that is what exactly, this gentleman is undermining with his so called poetry. I find it absolutely necessary for us, as a nation, to not (read: never) give-in to emotional hijacking such as this one, without involving rational thought.
What proof do you need and for which part of this poem? Army killed civilians in E.Pak (read Hamood ur Rehman Report) Balochistan, Sindh and now NWFP I am not talking about justified or otherwise. Army has always supported military dictatorship Ayub Yahya Zia Musharraf. He is not hurling blame just making a statement of fact. I m convinced that to survive as a nation we MUST hold ourselves accountable for our deeds as well as misdeeds. And you did not respond to my point on Khalid bin Al Waleed
Now, who are you looking to punish for the tragedy of East-Pakistan in present day? I heard somewhere (in your comment below probably) that "history is its own proof?" If you believe that's true (which I do not), then accept it's verdict: "All those who participated in breaking-up of Pakistan did not live long to enjoy the fruits of their 'victory'. Each one of them was either blown-up, assassinated or murdered. Or, hanged! within a decade."
>> "... you did not respond to my point on Khalid bin Al Waleed ..."
Caliph Omar was himself a Commander-in-Chief of the Army, and believe me, a very able one. He had earned the right to give orders to his Commander-in-Chief. Please know for all times to come, the ability to govern stems from the strength of character. And that's something a leader has to develop in his own personal life ... getting a hundred and sixty million votes is not a replacement to that!
Tareekh parha keejyay! History is its own proof!Read Hamood ur Rehman Report. Read UNCHR Reports,Amnesty International Reports, Human Rights Watch Report. Come out of your posh Mess and step into realty.Face the truth I consider it absolutely necessary that as a nation we hold ourselves accountable for all our misdeeds, past and present so that we do not repeat them in future
Why would the discussion jump from the issue at hand to me being in a mess or not? (which by the way I am not). And why would you start giving orders in the middle of a discussion, "Read this, read that, come out, go in, face the truth..."? That's exactly what Army does to corrupt politicians & you don't like that, right? That makes me believe that it's in the nature of this nation as a whole, not just the people from one single profession. I agree that we need to fix it. Charity begins at home!
I find it highly indecent (for a poet) to play with words to propagate hatred among people. There are far better uses of poetry! I find it shameful to use events from the past to instigate confrontation in the present without any attempt, whatsoever, at explaining those events for future learning. That's easy to do and doesn't take any poetic skills. But it's cheap to do so. And I find it sad (for a poet) to not be able to see beyond temporary fame at the longterm consequences of doing the above
But all that he said is truth, brutal, incisive but truth nevertheless! Has not our army been supporting dictator after dictator? And why not remind them of their past wrong doing particularly when it is being repeated again and again! I wish the army officers while being taught Khalid's campaigns and leadership skills are also taught his discipline and obedience to political leadership, acceptaning his removal from command by Caliph Omar immediately after he had conquered Damascus!
World always gets peaceful after August, it got peaceful after 17 August 1988, and after 18 August 2008 . . . I am sure many more dictators died or were removed in August
How true he was? (or is, for that matter). I would like to know how is any of these implicit allegations 'true'? Please know that getting your view-point respected isn't a God-given. When you use your views responsibly to make a point, it is then that you get your view-point respected. Do you not see the blatant self-proclaimed assertions here? Just beacause something is said in poetic verses doesn't make it any more true than stating something in Greek makes it authentic ...
